So why did the United States REALLY enter into a full blown war with Germany considering the information provided? and what was so special about 1938?

On December 17th, 1938, two German Scientists named Han and Strassmann discovered NUCLEAR FISSION! (This is part of the process required to make an Atomic Bomb) This discovery by these two Scientists was made well after Hitler had taken power in 1933. Many top level Scientists immediately recognized the potential for what this Scientific discovery could mean, and on August 2nd, 1939, the famous 'Einstein–Szilárd letter' was sent to President Roosevelt warning him about the potential of this particular discovery yielding the capability for Germany to make Atomic Weapons, and just exactly how exponentially different it would be compared to a normal bomb. (Just imagine if you're the President reading this letter, and basically scratching your head going "What The Fuck? can this really be for real?") It was in this year (1939) that President Roosevelt fairly immediately initiated the Manhattan Project, which initially started out as a Scientific Advisory Committee into the potential of Uranium to be manipulated into a weapon, and then became a full blown operation of the most serious nature in 1942 when it was evident that this was not bullshit. Roosevelt had also been warned that the Germans were working on an Atomic Bomb as early as 1939 as well.

One month after the 'Einstein–Szilárd letter', Germany invaded Poland, which officially triggered World War 2. However, our Government and the American people were still very hesitant to get into it with Germany, although there was a secretive naval conflict that had been going on that the American people knew nothing about before we officially got into the war in 1941 after Pearl Harbor.

Proceeding Pearl Harbor, Hitler oddly declared war on the United States, even though Germany had nothing to do with it. This was a dumb move, as it would have bought him more time to fight all the other forces he had set Germany up against.

90% of American manufactured munitions were sent to Europe, but the American people were never told this, and many Americans who thought they were going to fight the Japanese, ended up in Europe fighting the Germans. At one of Trump's rallies, he actually jokingly told a story about a guy who thought he was going to Japan, ended up off the shores of Italy, and died before he even knew where he was.......

World War 2, contrary to what many believe, or think they know, was not about saving J'ish people, or saving anyone in Europe for that matter, it was about making sure Germany didn't develop Nuclear Weapons, which would have made them the masters of the planet, had they done so and used such to win the war. Our Government was well aware of all the countries that Germany was invading, and knew that eventually, we would be invaded as well, and with nuclear leverage, we wouldn't have stood a chance against them and would have had no choice but to capitulate to their demands and desires.

In the beginning, the ideologies of post 1933 Germany and 20th century America were not so different, but when Nuclear Fission became part of the equation, and THEN when all the camps and killing were discovered, it fundamentally changed the way the US Government and other big Governments perceived things, including the issue of race.

On April 12th, 1945, President Roosevelt ended up dying in office, which Hitler had viewed as something that would morally destabilize the United States enough for Germany to possibly still win the war, but one month later they unconditionally surrendered, and it's lucky that they did, because had they lasted even 2-3 months longer, they would have gotten NUKED. The very Successful Trinity Test occurred on July 16th, 1945, and General Groves already had deployable units ready within days since everyone was so positive it was going to work. As soon as Germany unconditionally surrendered, the US high Command, including Patton, were most interested in Germany's progress on the Nuclear Bomb, and that's what they really dug into first and foremost, even before considering all of the victims of the war and the camps.

World War 2 was about Nuclear Weapons, Period. Roosevelt didn't care about J'ish people, and banned them from coming to the United States without a 'sponsor' when they were trying to flee Hitler. He turned away an entire boat filled with them and had it returned to Germany.

I've purposely left the issue of the Holocaust out of this thread, and I'll continue to do so, as I don't even want to touch that issue.

In Part 3, I'm going to address the "People of Color" issue that I brought up in part one, and how that is relevant to the German POW's that were brought to America. (Some of you will find this interesting)

War happens for the same reason always - nations fight other nations for resources and try to grab as much as they can. Private people and organizations support this because they make money off it. US Corporations supported the rise of Hitler and Nazism in the 30s and made WW2 not only possible - but inevitable. Our corporations are doing the SAME THING NOW WITH RED CHINA.

Europe was not the only front that 'The Allies' were fighting the Germans on, there was also the 'North African Campaign' and other fronts as well. Many of the Nazis who were captured on that front of the war were housed in camps in the United States, specifically warm climate states like Texas.

There was an allied rule that a POW had to be held in a climate similar to that which he had been taken prisoner in. By the end of the war, at least 380,000 German POW's were being housed in POW camps in the United States.

Now here is where things get very interesting. The Nazis who had been captured on the North African front and were sent to places like Texas specifically, were made to hoe and pick cotton along side African Americans who hadn't been sent to help fight World War 2. African Americans were expected to pick 2-3 times as much cotton as the German POW's..... The German/Nazi POW's were also allowed to eat in 'White Only' cafeterias, and overall got better treatment than African Americans all the way up until the United States' Government found out what the Germans HAD REALLY BEEN DOING, and all the killing that had gone on in the camps, and elsewhere regarding the death squads (Einsatzgruppen) as well.

It was at that point, that things changed drastically, and they no longer received better treatment at all. Initially though, people were shocked that these "Boys" were Hitler's Master Race. One Texan commented that "They look no different than the locals in the neighborhood"

Here's a couple of Comments from Nazi POW Farm Workers in Texas pertaining to the African Americans that they were forced to work alongside with.

"The blacks…didn’t do much better than us,” remarked one POW. “They were just in front of the wire, and we were behind the wire.” Another German soldier, who was a farmer in his civilian life, noted that African Americans were expected to pick two to three more times the cotton required of the POWs. “You have to see how they lived,” he said after the war. “These people were so exploited.”

I didn't add this little piece of information to make the Nazi POW's look good in any way, since any African American in one of the Segregated Units fighting in Europe who got caught by the Germans, was executed typically IMMEDIATELY, or taken to a camp and killed there. They had no mercy AT ALL. Really though, they didn't even bother taking them to the camps, as those were reserved for higher priority prisoners, the Germans just killed them on sight.

If you're African American and reading this, I apologize for the treatment that you've received in this country, but I can tell you that if the Nazis had won the war, instead of receiving ill treatment and racist policies, you would have faced complete extermination. Will race relations ever get better? probably not so much, but you do have civil rights and are not legally segregated the way you were pre-1964. Make the best of it.

As far as why Patton was not allowed to finish off the Russians, that would require another long and tedious thread that I'm just not willing to author right now. However, 1. They had been a temporary ally during the war 2. There were Communist infiltrators in our own Government that made sure that didn't happen and 3. Most of the allies were tired of the killing, and the Russians temporarily appeared to be part of 'the good guys' because they did the majority of the fighting against Germany and also liberated many of the Concentration Camps, which seems contradictory, since Russia was known for having their own concentration camps/gulags.

Would it have been good to force Russia into unconditional capitulation so that they never acquired Nuclear Weapons?, absolutely, but it's just not how things worked out, and at the time, logistically and morally it was hard to justify. Make no mistake though, the Communists were terrible people, no better than the Nazis, just a lot less efficient, and without the stringent racial standards. Stalin was a Georgian Turk, he wasn't even Russian.

You're correct, it was the 'Einstein–Szilárd letter' To President Roosevelt that was responsible for the Manhattan Project, but this letter was completely due to the two German scientists I mentioned, Han and Strassmann, discovering Nuclear Fission, and then detailing their findings in an open Scientific Journal, which is still expected of Scientists today. (If you see something say something)

Had Han and Strassmann never revealed their discovery, and only shared it with the inner core of the Nazi Party and its Scientific apparatus, the Nazis would have taken over the entire world, 100%. Scientists knew that fission and fusion were theoretically possible, they just didn't know of any element that had those attributes and could be manipulated into an applicable mechanism of pure death and destruction.

You could almost say that Han and Strassmann are responsible for the Nazis losing, because they detailed their findings in an open Scientific Journal to the worldwide Scientific Community. Had they not have done that, and just kept it a secret among the Nazis, they could have put all their efforts into making Atomic Weaponry, before deciding to take on the world and getting into an unwinnable war. With deployable Nuclear Weapons, the Germans would have won World War 2 in about 1 hour.

That's conjecture. During Operation Barbarossa, the Nazis killed 20 Million Russians at least, and an estimated 3.3 to 3.5 million Russian prisoners of war. When the British 11th Armoured Division discovered the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, they found 60,000 half-dead prisoners, 13,000 completely dead prisoners who hadn't even been buried or cremated yet, with another 10,000 of the 60,000 dying from disease and starvation in the next several weeks before there was enough time to do much to save them.

The Nazis had set up an estimated 15,000 - 42,000 concentration camps, sub camps and ghettos across Europe, spanning from France to Russia.

It is true though that American and British POW's did receive better treatment, but that's only because Hitler was an anglophile, and had tried to initially join forces using the ties of blood. He considered Slavs to be a completely different race of people, and totally expendable.

Then there was the Malmedy massacre, where the 1st SS Panzer Division executed 84 American POW's in a field, during their advance westward.

ONE DAY, and it's a day that's far off from now, a real movie about WW2, the Camps, the Executions, and the Holocaust will come out showing in vivid detail exactly what the Nazis were doing to people. Nobody has ever made one, because its embarrassing to European civilization, and it's still too close, with too many remaining survivors to risk giving them all heart attacks with such an extreme display of horror.

75 to 100 Million people were murdered during WW2, most will never even know who they were. Germany itself single handedly killed at least 50 Million of those people, and you think they allowed 90% of the allied POW's to live? Think again. As for 98% of German POW's being killed, that's another lie. As of just a few years ago, there was an ex-Auschwitz camp guard living happily in Switzerland, who was more than happy to tell his story. He admitted to seeing all the things that have been claimed, including the trains coming in cram packed with victims. His excuse was that he would have been shot if he hadn't done it, and that he was just a low level guard doing what he was told. A lot more Nazis than you think who survived the initial war itself WALKED, and lived very long lives, quite a few potentially still alive today. This is something people don't understand, history doesn't just go away, and neither do bullet proof ideologies with survivors who can still recite verses from Mein Kampf 70 years later. This is why the world is still a hell hole, because the horrors of the past have not gone anywhere. It will take another 200 years to untangle all of this, and the world is going to run dry of everything in less than 100 at this rate. WW2 was the true beginning of the end of the world, it's a slow end though, but an end in sight, to be certain.

German J's begged them not to do it. It was American J's that made that idiotic mistake of a declaration. Germans take everything very literally and technically. There were some J's who were still free at the end of WW2, but those were only the ones who had a long vetted track record of Military service and loyalty to the country. The vast majority of German J's had to flee for their lives after that and ended up losing everything, including their lives. It's important to point out too, that most European J's and American J's had nothing to do with each other. A German J had nothing to do with a Russian J in 99% of all cases, nor did they have anything to do with Communism. German J's were just starting to make it, and idiots like the people you mentioned fucked it all up for them.
