Need MRE recommendations
I don’t want to spend more than about 150$ including shipping. Any of you crafty little bastards have any suggestions? I’ve seen some neat ads on GLP but since I’m forced to use my phone to browse the site now I’ve lost access to those neat MRE ads off amazon. I looked some up recently but there’s nothing really special I can find personally. So! I’m all ears! ...
Oh!... and ego! Weeeeeeeeee!!!

Just make sure they are fresh. Lots of sellers have old product.

I’ve noticed that actually. I want a guaranteed 25 year shelf life, or at least something tasty enough to eat within a few years.

The max shelf life of an MRE is 60 months depending on the temperature you store them in. If you want a 25 year shelf life you need to consider freeze dried foods. [link to www.mountainhouse.com (secure)]

Re: Need MRE recommendations
MRE's are NOT a good long term survival option.

If you are using to supplement existing food stuffs,
weekend trips, in other words short term use, they
are okay.

Actually, that’s exactly why I want them -> short term use for hunting and camping and fun
