FWPD did something like this a few years ago.....a senior called the cops for suspicious activity across the street. The cops rolled up,,,two in one patrol car,,,,at the callers address.
The Senior was in his garage with the Garage door open and a handgun in his hand....the cops opened fire after he did not understand/followed commands to drop the gun.

Then you look at Dallas PD who has been understaffed for several years now. The chief said a year or two ago she cannot find people who will work nights or weekends.....

Seems like it often happens when people call cops to take care of stupid shit that people could and should easily handle by themselves, the cops do things deliberately to make people really regret having called the cops and wasted their time. This is one of those cases.

Cop was a rookie with less than 2 yrs on the job.....probably scared shit.....I knew a few NYPD cops like that....grew up in a upper middle class white suburb with little contact with minorities..... then having to patrol 'da hood for their first beat....

If the neighbor took care of his house instead of wanting to take care of others, that would not have happened ...
