Soldiers numbers are irrelevant but Turkish Army is way stronger than Assad's army. Assad can only win with Russian support. But that would be a direct confrontation between a NATO member and Russia.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78054626 Hezbollah. They already kicked Israel's ass. Turkey will be no different. Russia and Iran don't have to get directly involved.
