And OP, are we trying to photograph the Astronaut or the stars here? If the exposure is set so we see the stars the Astronaut and Earth would be completely whited out by overexposure. Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

The light from the stars is not visible in the vacuum of space because there is no atmosphere to defract the light emission. You can see it reflect off solid surfaces also while in space. (like planets.) Here's the best part. Even our sun is invisible to the naked eye if you look directly at it from space. It will still hurt your eyes like it does on earth though. Take a picture. now walk back inside( you can't see because your eyes are adjusted to the sunlight.) tak photo using the bright sun settings;.same effect as your eyes. it will be too dark to show much. the cameras are set for daylight(sunlight) of course stars aren't going to register. Quoting: Aeolus24 [link to thumbs-prod.si-cdn.com (secure)] Modern space suit visors, shuttle ports, and natural light camera lenses are coated with iridium which defract the light and allow the stars to be visible. If you went outside of earths atmosphere with out special detracting lenses you would not see stars. I'm not arguing with you, I am educating you. |

Quoting: Aeolus24 There are a lot of pictures with and without stars. The scientists and producers can't seem to come to an agreement. Jesus Christ is God. Read the Holy Bible, keep his commandments, obey all of his commands, save your soul. Jesus blesses you! <3 |

ISS 24-7 Earth cam User ID: 76724217 United Kingdom 11/08/2019 06:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why doesn't the ISS have a 24-7 Earth cam? Why isn't the "fourth wall" shown when ISS actors are doing their harness tumbles (notice, it's always backwards, and never forwards, or side-to-side), and fake-ass augmented reality shit? I guess US taxpayers will never know. |
