If you do a bit more research, you will find the AC is both an alliance of enemy nations surrounding Israel and the eventual ruler of that alliance.

The Bible actually says that that king will come from an old kingdom which now includes Iran, western Turkey, "Palistine", and Syria.

The US isn't mentioned even once in the Bible.

The Antichrist "comes from Syria" or does he "come out of Syria"? Like current world events are showing us. He could be a major player there but from another nation, making his ascent by what's going on in Syria. Sure he is called "The Asyrian", but that could also be his bloodline.

To lead a 10 nation army, you don't have to "conquer" it. No where does it say he conquers the nations for his 10 nation army. Just look at the EU right now. They have formed a 10 nation army to defend Europe. What if the AC just ends up being in control of this army?

Sign a 7 year peace deal? That's not what the prophecies say. Nowhere does it say he will sign a 7 year peace deal. It says he will CONFIRM the deal. This could mean someone else makes the deal and it's never enforced, and he is the one that makes sure it is enforced. An example (albeit a horrible one) could be this : Trumps administration comes up with the peace deal, it's signed, but due to "international law loopholes" it is never enforced. Barrack Obama somehow becomes the leader of the UN and decides to enforce (confirm) the deal, making sure it's followed for a short time. This would mean the person that came up with the deal, signed the deal was NOT the AC, but the one that CONFIRMS the deal.

Language is important, and native English speakers like myself and most of the people posting here have been deceived their whole lives to believe two similarly sounding things are the exact same thing, when they are not, because the English language is less complex than even African clicks and grunts.

Yes, the EU did form a consortium, but never gave their armies or their national control over to it.
