This phrase didn't have much meaning when I was young, but today it tears at my soul...military-industrial complex. no there was no technology there. but they have one of the rare climates that is both hot enough and wet enough to grow rubber. A trillion dollar business. Correct. However, I'm referencing the technology advancements that the US military paid for to Boeing, Lockheed, etc. to make better, faster jets. Better tanks. Better ships. Better munitions. And on and on and on.
