Forget pumpkins - it’s all about the BUM-pkin: Glitter bums get a brand spanking new makeover for Halloween – and the orange-painted posteriors are taking over Instagram.

'Bumpkins' are the new trend taking over Instagram in time for Halloween.
The trend sees various 'glitter bums' with spooky-themed painted derrieres.
ITV show Lorraine picked up the trend on Tuesday, asking if it was a step too far. Trend was kicked off by make-up artist Sophie Levy, co-founder of Go Get Glitter.

Glitter boobs were all the rage over the summer, taking over the festival scene with sparkling determination.

And now there is an new trend sweeping Instagram for Halloween, in the form of spooky 'glitter bums'.

Do it anyway. How about a pineapple?
