I enjoy Chuck Missler's lectures. I disagree with some of his conclusions, but his scholarship is valuable for bible students.

It's sad watching threads like this devolve into people spewing venom at each other over doctrinal differences. I love studying the Bible & belong to no church. The worst thing you can ever do is join a church. You let other people dictate to you what the wisdom in the Good Book means. It's a kind of spiritual laziness - a foresaking of one's duty to search for God on the merits of their own desire for his presence.

The end result are Christians fighting with one another. All the mysteries of the universe are hidden in the Bible, & once you cast aside your preconceived notions & search in earnest for the truths it holds, you'll never be able to quit that search. It's exhilarating. And supernatural occurences become a regular part of your life experience.

Christ wants you to find him. That Book is the roadmap to make it happen.
