The 2009 bailout hit 125 billion dollars.

Now We were at 180 billion as of a week or so ago.

We are dumping billions a day now to prop up the economy till mid 2020. But they will never stop.

We are already in a depression. The tidal wave of debt is coming waaaaay off in the distance.

Watch everyone at the beach look in amazement at the receding water. They have no idea.

Re: Recession likely to be years away thanks to Trump’s bullish effect on market – Nobel prize winner Robert Shiller
US President Donald Trump is creating an environment that’s conducive to strong consumer spending, says economist Robert Shiller. It’s a major force that should hold off a recession, he adds.

“Consumers are hanging in there. You might wonder why that would be at this time so late into the cycle. This is the longest expansion ever. Now, you can say the expansion was partly [President Barack] Obama,” Shiller said in an interview with CNBC. “But lingering on this long needs an explanation.”

The explanation, according to the Yale University professor, is US President Donald Trump.

“I think that [strong spending] has to do with the inspiration for many people provided by our motivational speaker president who models luxurious living,” he said.

When a team wins the QB gets too much credit, when they lose too much blame...

It's the nature of the money changers game, it will go down at some point and new fortunes will be made...The depression is inevitable, never buy anything at peak, a house, bitcoin, stocks, whatever, you will lose and they win again.

Climate change technology is simply here to replace dwindling oil demands due to green tech. One door opens when another closes, they always win.

How would anyone be able to tell if the economy is healthy nowadays?

Weren't Enron & Lehman Bros. completely faking their numbers... recording debt as profit to show to the shareholders.... meanwhile, they were just empty shells of companies.

How many companies since the 2008 crisis you bet are doing the same exact thing on a much bigger scale!

The U.S. economy is house of cards built on top of a speeding train, racing downhill, through a row of tornados. I have no idea how it hasn't collapsed already.

As others have stated, any new jobs created are all bottom-of-the-barrel shit jobs that no one would want in a truly healthy economy.

So crazy, wrong, sad, take your pick...

The 'market' isn't the economy. Now, of course it's important for 'the house' to sucker as many people to put their wealth into the market - but that does nothing at all for the real economy at all. But it will sure enrich 'the house' when the rug gets pulled as the discrepancy between the real and the casino market is erased. These kinds of announcements are, themselves, attempts to prop up the stock market and keep the cattle pouring wealth into it.

There will probably never be a recession again because of the way the government lies. Understating inflation allows them to overstate GDP.

Government spending is propping up GDP, and much of the government's deficit is being financed directly and/or indirectly by the Fed printing money (debt monetization).

Batabooom!!! 7 million more people working today than the day President Trump was sworn in. 5 Million off government assistance programs. More jobs than there are workers causing employers to visit prisons finding anyone close to being released with skills. Average income for Hispanics is now $50K that's UNREAL.. happy Hispanics lining up behind our president. More Blacks working than ever in the history of the country theirs and women's incomes have risen almost 7% !

So while you haters love to hate your virtually spitting in the wind because your wrong and your a moron to not know good things are happening to our nation and our people THAT is truly wonderful and pray we keep it rolling along.

These are all lies. For survival, people are doing menial jobs. A job is something that you can make your living out of it. The government refuses to give you medical, and then they dangle a carrot in front of you. I know people are going through hardship that are often make me cry.

How many of you know that President made Medicare for all and shifted the cost to Middle Class + Seniors are bearing the burden too. He calls it Obama Care but from 3 level, made it 5 level. Seniors used to carry Silver Plan. Not any more. All this information is hidden. An average person can't figure it out. But it is there. Most likely he will announce it after November 5 (after Elections). If you are Senior and rich that can pay for better plan. You will be abvle able a
