I don't put much faith in the polls. As we saw in 2016, they no longer reflect reality. They are skewed. The questions are skewed to get a skewed result. The CBC and the other bought and paid off media has tried to reduce this election to a red globalist koolaid vs blue globalist koolaid situation and convince you that any other color of koolaid will help the blue koolaid win which would be bad for muh reasons. The sad part is that most people still trust the CBC and will vote accordingly. I hope Canadians prove me wrong today, but I'm not holding my breath.

I’m watching Canadian News. They said if you go to vote -Make sure you bring 2 pieces of valid ID like a driver’s license and a passport.
WTF. We don’t do that because it racist or something. How can Canada get away with demanding people prove they are really eligible to vote?

I'm leaving to vote soon. I am going to take my expired driver's license and voter card and see if I'm allowed to vote. I will take the new one and passport just in case. I'll report back.

The point is, I am willing to bet I won't even have to show the valid drivers license or passport to vote. I will take them in case they do deny the expired license, and I truly hope they do deny it.

2 pieces of ID does not prove citizenship - Neither does a voter registration card as has been mentioned on this forum on another thread - some members here have witnessed that people they know who are not citizens have received their voters card.

Not to mention the 600 million dollar bribe paid to the media in the lead up to the election. Out of our pockets.

That about sums it up.

Here in the US you just give them your name and address and that's it. If you know someone isn't voting you could go in and place a vote in their name and there is no way to stop it. It's insane.

How is it globalist to pay attention to your local situation?

If the Conservative incumbent and gun rights advocate in my riding is in a close race, and the PPC is in 4th place, I am going to think locally and use my vote to prevent the Liberals from getting a seat here.

We have a strong field here. The allegedly "anti-immigrant" PPC is running a first generation Chinese immigrant. Her English is poor, but she still articulates the PPC position very clearly, perhaps more clearly than most, because she doesn't have the ability to beat around the bush.

Our Green candidate is an actual farmer who knows something about the environment. I met her yesterday because she attended a non-election related event connecting farm owners with unused land to young farmers looking to lease or profit share.

We even have a Rhinoceros Party candidate with a great plan to make Canada greener by hastening global warming with more coal plants. Win win!

Nevertheless, I will vote Conservative because they are the only ones who can beat the Liberals here.

Up to eight years ago, I got mailed to me a voting card, even though I am a landed immigrant, and voted.
That stopped, and last time I tried to vote 7 years ago with my id, they wouldn't let me.

I had to laugh the other day - I was listening to the news on the radio when the reporter asked some Political Science guy from some university about how 'nasty' this election has been and the Poli-Sci guy says that the Conservatives have engaged in personal attacks and it's the worst they've ever seen. The reporter agreed.
MEANWHILE for the last 3+ years the media has been engaging in personal attacks on Trump 24/7.
And the PC party advertisements are lame as a wet noodle.

Your passport has no proof of address, so you should bring your voter's notice or driver's license as well.

If you have that you can vote.
Funny - illegals, immigrants and non-citizens can have a drivers license, so having this does not prove you are a citizen, but according to the Government link, that's all you need.
