OK. I'm back. First thing, there were only 2 other people there to vote. Last time I waited in line for 10 minutes, same time of day. Could just be because it's raining, but it's gonna rain all day.

Unfortunately, as I suspected, all I needed to vote was my voter card and an expired drivers license. As she was handing me the ballot, I said, "don't I have to prove I'm a citizen?" and she said no, because only citizens get their card and if you have a card you go on the list. I said, weird, because my grandson in law got his and he's just a permanent resident. Then I went into the booth made my X and went to put it in the box. I planned to call them out for accepting my expired license, but she seemed pretty shaken by the realization that you don't have to be a citizen to be on the list and there is no requirement to prove citizenship. The girl at the next table said that she knew of a few people that got the voter card that shouldn't have. I planted the seed, no need to make them feel bad, so I just said "looks like a weakness in the system and should be reported", and they agreed.
