I've been watching Fox News several hours/day since then and haven't seen the first thing about this major battle involving 7-800 cartel members vs about 300 military and police. It was on Fox once the other day because my dad said he saw it but it was only a brief mention. This should be a major story because it yet again shows why it's desperately needed for us to secure the border in all ways possible, including fence and active monitoring and increase air and sea interdiction. Securing the border will not only help the US by greatly diminishing the inflow, but also help Mexico by weakening the cartels by reducing their inflow of wealth. |

This can also help to reduce migration. .
