I wonder if the cartels now run Mexico.
Quoting: Jon Titor ™ they need to be totally eliminated with extreme prejudice and urgency. Easier said than done. Think Iraq. There is no peaceful solution in regards to cartels in Mexico as long as the drug trade provides billions in profits. The WORLD would need to de-criminalize all drugs to end that cash flow - not happening any time soon. If you try to eliminate by force, they'll just go underground and continue the fight (as in contras).... I'm afraid there is no easy solution to this. I'm not sure what, if any solution, there is. We can't legalize heroin, cocaine, meth, fentenyl and all of that other dangerous shit. We'd have an expansion of homeless drug addicts everywhere and the whole joint would look and smell like San Francisco. Weed, yes, but that's not a drug (as in chemically produced and deadly).
