Oh my lawd, that guys yard musta been a whopping 10 foot by 10 foot. Dig down a foot, lay that hardware cloth "box", fill the dirt again, lawn seed and then enjoy that tiny patch of lawn rodent free.

The son and his friend thought to burn them out but desisted on reflection .Luckily the moles decided to go into the field .
