How people USE technology is what destroys us. People need to stop blaming "evil tech" and start pointing out personal responsibility and decision making being the ACTUAL problems here. Parents using a tablet or cellphone are the people causing the issue, not the tablets being used. SCHOOLS have stopped teaching people how to learn, how to communicate, and how to interact. Walk into class, grab an iPad or a Chromebook, and let the Internet teach you how to be human. Technology is grand, and can enhance our lives greatly. How it's USED is a case of personal choice and / or indoctrination, both of which can be set aside for better choices. So, no, cellphones are NOT destroying us as people. WE are allowing ourselves to be destroyed as people by generational habits which are encouraged by those who enjoy people being sheep - and incidentally turn a profit on the tech.
