Some of what's going on today is even worse because most most people aren't honest and candid about their own and other people's political orientation.

Treating the subject of liberal or conservative, leftwing or rightwing, is a major reason the true nature of left-leaning biases has crept in under the wire.

Liberals/leftists are like a person with severe body odor or bad breath. A person with problems that no one likes to talk about. Even worse, that everyone pretends is perfectly okay.

A political form of severe BO isn't wonderful smelling. No better smelling that a Stalin/Hitler/Mao/Castro/Pol Pot/Maduro - or their slightly softer cousins in the form of Depends-wearing Hillary Clintons or fly-on-lips Barack Obamas - on a hot, sweaty summer day.

The President and most other people have to start being more focused on the political orientation of the people they're judging, certainly hiring or screening.

I imagine Donald Trump for most of his life (as is true of most people) has honed in on the general looks of a person. Or how a person is dressed. Or that person's personality, talents, skills, experiences, shared interests, hobbies. Everything and anything but just how liberal/leftwing or conservative/rightwing he or she is.

That's a big mistake in the world of government and politics. But also a mistake when trying to maintain a sane, humane society.

The President was naive and foolish for not immediately knowing that about Wray. The precise ideological nature of a person should always be Determinant Number One.

In taking the advice of people, I suspect most of them will refer names not fully aware of that person's ideology.
