A bit stressful for me as my elderly parents live there and are subject to yet another power outage. For me, the silver lining to this is that During this time, they won't be able to blast CNN 24/7.

I once worked for a company in California that performed services for PG&E. All of the warehouse workers were Hispanic. They had their own meeting room where they would discuss upcoming jobs. One of the people in the office who was in charge of "keeping an eye on the warehouse workers" had reported that he couldn't figure out all of the words that they were writing on their whiteboard... one of the words that took awhile to understand was when they used the word "pgande"... couldn't find "Pgande" in the Spanish English dictionary... finally realised that they were spelling out "PG&E"... it was good for a chuckle...

Getting what they deserve! 450k is not enough! Need to be entire state!

the other 150k will be lighting fireplace fires to stay warm tonight because their heating is all electric.

All those houses that burned last year were insured which is nice till the insurance company goes broke.

The first thing you do when you're burned out is to stop paying the insurance bill - nothing left to insure. Not to mention a plethra of wrongful death & injury suits.
