when people ask good questions about guns i feel compelled to educate them so i will tell you what i know..5.56 is the caliber in millimeters, .223 in inches. these calibers are the same diameter bullet and essentially the same cartridge. while you can safely shoot .223 Remington in a firearm designed for 5.56 NATO, shooting 5.56 NATO from a rifle chambered only for .223 is not advised, since the pressures are considerably greater and the headspace or distance the bullet travels before encountering rifling in the barrel is longer with the military round.

Only rifle caliber that I know loads a .227 bullet is the 22 Savage High Power 5.6x52 R. Introduced by Savage Arms in 1912. The case is based on a 25-35 Winchester necked down to 22 caliber. Obsolete in the U.S. and Europe today. Some old rifles still exist. (Google .227 - a few links pop)

Paramedics took shooting patients to Medical City Plano and hospital in Greenville. Hundreds of people were attending the party outside Greenville. Many were Texas A&M Commerce students. The university says this was a non-sanctioned event.


And another twitter rumor/post stating 27 'hit'.

The college demographics link showed that roughly a quarter of the student body was black. Texas cities homicide rates have the fastest rising homicide rates due to gangs & illegals. Being an off campus party it is likely that some non-students attended. Everyone in the clip was black except for one thot. It is a tragedy, but likely gang related.

Sad. Apparently this story does not fit a narrative. I checked the stream of CNN at 7AM and the lead story is the isis guy getting dead.

Trump will be blamed somehow.

And, REAL GANGSTAS don't like college guys, but they love college girls. It's a CLASS thing.

So it happened off campus at an event not sponsored by the school with high energy music, noise, alcohol, drugs, twerking and blacks.

And with 1000 in attendance guaranteed more than one shooter and most likely gang related. But the media needs time to twist this into something they can blame white conservatives and Trump for.
