country is in the midst of a crisis of criminality: At this very moment, more criminals are walking our streets than ever before. How is this possible, especially in light of the FBI’s latest statistics showing yet another drop in crime rates?

The answer lies not with the American people, but with our laws.

We have more criminals because, quite simply, we have turned everyday citizens into unwitting lawbreakers by adding layer upon layer to our criminal codes and turning nearly every conceivable misdeed into a criminal offense. Poor decisions become misdemeanors, misdemeanors evolve into felonies, and lives spin out of control in the process.

Perhaps nowhere is the absurdity of current law on better display than at the federal level. Educated guesses place the number of laws and regulations with criminal penalties at over 300,000, but no one can say with certainty how many there actually are. If the federal government with its trillions of dollars and millions of employees cannot keep track of all of these criminal penalties, what chance do ordinary people have?

In some states, you can't even defend yourself against true criminals attacking you without becoming a criminal yourself. And why aren't they pursuing the criminals making those SS scam calls and "pay us taxes or go to jail" scam calls? I mean, it should be somewhat traceable, right?

Article doesn't say much as far as a list of these crimes, just one example of a person being arrested in Ohio for carrying too many tires on their vehicle. They had 14 when the limit is 10.

How else is the FBI's pre-crime operation supposed to work? If they can't just swoop someone off the street and say, "See? Criminal!", then Jerry will never get his upgrade.

It is a precedent in Judicial law that individuals determined to be criminals LOSE EVERYTHING THEY HAVE, and it all becomes available for disposal of the courts if deemed to be considered derived from 'criminal' activities.

Put another way, it is profitable for the system and officers of the court to declare all but themselves criminals and, by default, rendered stripped of all value.

Think about it.

If destroyed by false accusations, you dont get back everything you lost in the course of defending yourself or what you lost by being forced out of your normal activities.
No, even when and if declared not guilty, you stay fucked over.

The Judicial system exists as it does to make the court your lord and master by whatever whim they decide to accuse you with.

It is a weapon for them, against you as you are now compelled by judicial edicts and nonsensical interpretations, not protected by laws.

So why won't they go after scam callers? That's something that makes them needed, right?

Laws were always for control of the masses by a selfish elite, until the magna carta, which was only small half measures towards individual rights at least for the annointed wealthy already in some service to the elites.
This was carried to the individual by the BoR and perverted gradually at almost light speed when certain malignant elites flooded in from eastern Europe in the early 1900's and initiated subjugation of the host culture in order to enslave it and declare all, theirs by 'divine right'.

If you take the money out of laws, those that make them, those that collect money from them, you would see law making drop and many not enforced.

Homeless commit crimes but nothing is done about them, why? Because they have no money.

They are running selective enforcement for their friends, they ignore their deeds and intent, for their enemies, they find any and every pretext to drain their pockets and confiscate their property and time.

It really is a war of extermination thats at play, for a malignant minority can never sleep comfortably until their competition has been rendered powerless, pennyless and pointless.

And there's an even more insidious element to this. They make a law with potentially heavy penalties and then selectively enforce it against people the state has something against. Take pot laws as a great example, you have 1g of flower(regular pot) or 1g of some hash or oil(extract), the cops could charge you with posession of marijuana for both but in some states they can upgrade that to a felony for the gram of extract. Now imagine that cop just doesn't like the look of your face or is having a bad day, which one do you think you're gonna get charged with?

Or gun laws, they make sure the law abiding are crossing every t and dotting every i but our inner cities have oodles of guns and nothing is done.

Selective enforcement is just another form of tyranny.
