I have a composting toilet (Sunmar electric) and I emptied the bin underneath the other day and a friend of mine was amazed at the end result. No smell, I don't urinate in it, and just brown granules. I don't see why they are not mandatory in homebuilding. Using treated, fresh water, because people are afraid of their poo is retarded.

And urine can be directly used in any garden watered down 10-1. It's sterile (people don't realize this it seems).

The Ice Age is coming. We want MORE Co2 to be released to stave it off until earth is prepared for the change!

Just read an article on the power of pee. "First pee," after you wake up in the morning, is said to be most beneficial for... something. People wash their hair with it, and eye cures - it handles eye cures. Now I see why those cast adrift who drank their own urine survived.

Humanure in my food, I don't want, though. Won't even use city mulch (pharmacy, lawn chemicals). But there is every other use for it, including growing certain types of trees that are more beneficial to the earth and mankind.

Yep...my neighbour asked what I fed my tomatoes (they were in pots) to make them so lush...when I said urine he just said 'well that's frugal'...lol. And yes, it is a decent cannabis feed as well. The Dutch, if memory serves, are working on a combo of urine and white clover to grow pretty much everything with.

Yes we need way more CO2...I think the threads title is misleading. When I worked in some larger 'grow shows' (like 400-500 lights each) a large expense was CO2 generators, we wanted the rooms to be between 1000-1200 ppm CO2 for optimal plant growth.

People would be shocked to find out how many things they use contain uric acid. Tooth whitening products, ear drops, shampoo, hair products, cosmetics and face creams. A lot of things.

I have heard of that, it's also known as methane hydrate. It is indeed a serious greenhouse gas. The problem is if co2 ( a moderate greenhouse gas) levels keep increasing, the oceans could warm a bit and the methane hydrate (a semi solid) on the ocean floor, would start vaporizing and bubbling up into the atmosphere and then it will be a run a way reaction and most life will die.
