A problem people have with the Mandela effect being true is that it means this place is not a material solid static place.

I remember the drumstick as well.

There have been many satires of Henry VIII regarding his corpulence. Recall one such from Mad Magazine. It is what the Democrats are using, if you see it enough, it becomes fact in your mind.

Have you ever thought that the Mandela effect is actually a manifestation of the sons of God in the beginning of that prophecy, and that his glory will fill the whole earth like the waters cover the sea?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78010187

uh, and what would that have to do with the kinds of changes attributed to the mandela affect?

Too many Renaissance Festivals.
 Quoting: RepublicofTexas

LOL yes!! I confess I grew up going to Renfests. I'd go in full costume & spend the day stumbling about drunk on mead. I was engaged to be married in my early 20s, & my fiancé & I had our wedding planned to occur at the Renaissance festival. I had 7 groomsmen, she had 8 bridemaids. We all got fitted for suits of armor & "Ladys of Camelot" dresses from a costume shop. There was even a famous Episcopal priest who had his own radio show that was going to come dressed as a monk to perform the ceremony (Les KinSolving). Mr. KinSolving was also a reknowned White House correspondent, part of the WH press corp for several decades.

My fiancé & I went splitsville 3 months before the wedding (for which I'm eternally grateful).

My memory is of that portrait is he is posing in 3/4 face view, probably from waist up, possibly holding the cooked leg of fowl in his left hand? (perspective could be reversed, however, holding it in right hand).

The Private Life of Henry VIII

The Private Life of Henry VIII is a 1933 British film which was directed and co-produced by Alexander Korda and starring Charles Laughton, Robert Donat, Merle Oberon and Elsa Lanchester. The film focuses on the marriages of King Henry VIII of England. It was written by Lajos Bíró and Arthur Wimperis for London Film Productions, Korda's production company. The film was a major international success, establishing Korda as a leading filmmaker and Laughton as a box office star.

Legacy

The Private Life of Henry VIII is credited with creating the popular image of Henry VIII as a fat, lecherous glutton, constantly eating turkey legs and tossing the bones over his shoulder (although in the film, Henry actually eats an entire chicken).[6][7][8][9][10]

Historian Alison Weir has pointed out that this image is contradicted by primary sources, noting "As a rule, Henry did not dine in the great halls of his palaces, and his table manners were highly refined, as was the code of etiquette followed at his court.

Thankfully someone still has their feet on the ground. All this Mandela nonsense is getting out of hand; it's never about anything of substance. The day I wake up to find that it was, in fact, Nellie Armstrong who (allegedly) walked on the moon in 1969, or that the currency in the USA is, and has always been, the Peso then I may change my mind. Until then, blah blah blah.

all this talk has caused me to defrost a couple of small
turkeys which I will smoke next week.

I remember an old black and white movie I saw on television,
back in the 60's, that showed him eating what looked like
a turkey, but was really a chicken. I saw a link from an
earlier poster for that movie. I think I saw it in grade
school. history teachers would show things like that if
they thought it was close to historical reality.

For those who don't know, the mandela effect here is that many people remember King Henry VIII posing with a turkey leg in a portrait and also remember seeing parodies of him toting the infamous prop as a symbol of his gluttony and excessiveness.

The thing is - it never happened and such references do not exist. Who remembers the painting?

But I never paid this ‘Mandela Effect’ much attention. Until now.

There was a big timeline split about 3 years ago, end of November. I consciously chose this timeline, as Hildabeast won the Presidency in the other, and utter hell was about to break loose. Pulled my family with me, daughters were conscious of this, Mr. LJS was hauled unawares.

In the other one, I was fated to die fighting, along with Mr. LJS and all 3 daughters.

This is such a weird freaking Mandela Effect. I remember the turkey leg, but I thought he was holding it in his left hand.

When you look at the way his left hand is painted, a turkey leg could have fit there.
