Look, we all get it, politicians are going to politic the shit out of anything they touch, and for the most part will vote along party lines (because going against the party has serious, long term repercussions). You have to admit that this has been the most politically biased and one sided "inquiry" in the history of the House of Representatives. Also, I think you'd have to admit that if Schiff/Pelosi/etc had actual evidence against the POTUS, especially knowing that they have the majority in the house, there is literally no reason for them to have done all of this behind closed doors, blocking any Republican access. Seriously, they have had the votes to impeach since the beginning of 2019. Not a single republican flip needed. Wouldn't it make more sense to at least appear to be bipartisan (you know, following the rules of the constitution and the House) and include the republicans in their "inquiry" circle jerk? again you all miss the point it does not matter who is the president being impeached, or what they are being accused of both sides will always say it is a coup to over turn an election so all this talk of coups, is just a tired old talking point both sides run to The way this impeachment inquiry has been run goes against the established rules of the House, and directly against the Constitutional mandate of the House and their job regarding impeachment of a President.
