Message Subject Why is GLP, as a whole, majorly afraid of vegans????

I will first reinforce your point that yes, the typical vegan is the single largest DETRIMENT to the vegan cause, you are entirely correct.

However, that doesn't excuse you for engaging in logical fallacy. Mega farms are almost invariably wrong, both in method and reasoning, and yes, there IS a horrifying disregard for the wellbeing of mass herd farm livestock.

So, the issue at question is HOW the animals are treated, and the viability and morality of this style of farming. I wouldn't argue that for a second.

That has NOTHING to do with what I eat or how I eat it. And before you start about how MY meat eating habits are the cause of this, not at all, not a bit. I know EXACTLY where my meat comes from - if not raised by my family, then local small farms, almost all multi-production as they SHOULD be, small and sustainable. Sadly, it means we pay a LOT more, because SHITTY farming practices create a huge pricing canyon, but there you go - there is a price to be paid for EVERY choice we make.

SO I agree with you about farming practices, but I certainly feel neither responsibility nor guilt, and it STILL has nothing to do with the cult of veganism. "My activism is my lifestyle" got old about 20 years ago.

Fucking hell mate calm down. Logical fallacy? The OP was questioning why vegans are attacked relentlessly on here and elsewhere. I have sympathy with their position. Never once did I say that all animal husbandry is equally bad so you can shove your logical falice up your fucking arse. Didn't ask you to feel guilty or responsible. My point was that most people eating the burger king kfc shite dont question where their shite comes from and if they did it might make them feel a little uncomfortable, or maybe not depending on whether they have the empathy gene.

Excellent! Then maybe next time SAY that, rather than painting everyone with the same generic brush, yah?

And I'm absolutely calm :D Nothing on an internet forum full of differing opinions is about to get me particularly excited - simply pointing out an error, while actually agreeing with your central point. Don't take agreement very well? chuckle

I did, but you're too obtuse to understand without having everyting spelt out fot you.

Nice try, my friend, but not going to cut it, and YOU know that as well as I do.

You can try to prevaricate all you want, but you misspoke, then you reacted wrongly, and now you've backed yourself into a corner and have to try to fight. I've given you the out, I have no skin in this game.

NOW who's the one attacking?

You have an awesome afternoon!
