I sympathise with your there, dear Lance. My experience is similar. Different people have different rates of "mind growth", and in some cases it means one might be racing on ahead while the other person is "stagnant". Or vice-versa. Actually, we are all moving at our own chosen pace, and comparing is not helpful, but it is difficult if we are in close relationships. If unconditional love comes into play, then we will try and assist our partners, at a pace they can cope with. This requires great patience and is a considerable challenge ....

Congratulations Lance on following your own path. It sometimes takes great courage. And flexibility - the ability to turn round 180 degrees - is something which will stand you in good stead in the future, which will be challenging for all of us.
