I had a very vivid dream about an unusual Earthquake...
Please don't pin this, I just want to talk about the sensation of the movement. This is not prophetic. I have no doom info for anyone.

I dream about natural disasters often. I usually write them off, as there have been too many, and I have not ever connected one with a real phenomena in the world.

That said, the difference of last nights dream was astounding.

The earthquake didn't shake. It sent up some chunks of earth around us. (Geodes even! HUUUGE). The upward earth movement happened first. The one I was focusing on was like a hill being formed.

The second part was what was weird. The structure we were in moved with the ground sideways. Nothing was shaking or breaking apart. Just moving a little swaying with the forward direction at first, then just fast movement.

I remember thinking there was this line we had to cross to be ok. Have no idea why I thought that. Just felt the relief when we moved past it.

After it stopped, we all realized the cell service was out. We had no water, but I saw we could melt the snow. I don't remember there being snow when this started.

***dreamtard trolls, I already know how you feel about this, so please go harass some other poster. I am sure there is something more offensive.

The geodes is interesting, and made me think about pole reversal.

I've never been someone to worry about a magnetic pole reversal, as it's a field. But geodes bursting out of the ground makes me think that some things in the ground that have been aligned for hundreds of thousands of years to a particular rule, suddenly changed, may act quite violently in that split second as they re-align.

My wife dreams of epic battles with people similar to her. Always on bleak mountain sides, following a lion headed man. They always attach insect headed folk (tiny) using lightning coming out of their fingers. The dreams are always a variation or continuation of this theme.

Interesting dream OP.

It made me think about pole reversal too.

Since the layer of the crust that will be moving, is very thick (many miles) perhaps there are places that will just slide.

I wonder if the mechanism of the whole thing will act like my dream? Things being thrust up first?

The Geodes (very large - like 20ish feet tall), might just be at a certain set level underneath the earth. Maybe at the place just above where the magma flows in a usual course.

Driving around and looking at foothills, wondering how they were formed today. I think I saw last night.

Everything is fine as there are no Earth poles to shift, look for another meaning.
