Another secular has surfaced.....
Because he is God... he can do anything he wants!

And yes he can take the form of man....
that's how we got Jesus Christ!

Father God didn't leave heaven to become a man.

The SON OF God did.

Father God was NEVER "born", yet Jesus makes this statement.

John 18:37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, "So You are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say correctly that I am a king For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."

Then...

Colossians 1:15-18

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 17 shows us that Jesus was WITH the Father in the beginning.

5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Genesis 1:26 verse of "Let Us make man in OUR image" shows us that Jesus creator WITH the Father.

So therefore, God, the Father, created Jesus.

And being both a "created entity", AND having been SENT to earth BY the Father, is "how" Jesus died.

This verse in Revelation clearly shows Jesus as both "firstborn of creation" AND "firstborn of the dead".

Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

God Himself didn't die for us. God CANNOT die.

Jesus did - at the Father's command.

John 6

38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Jesus SAID that He was SENT 47 different times.

To be "SENT" requires AUTHORITY.

The AUTHORITY of the Father.

Yeah, I got questions ...

What about:

John 1:14

So, you are wrong.
God did indeed become flesh and dwelt among us.

So now what are you going to do about that?

In the Beginning God created the heaven and the Earth Gotta make time for creating dontcha?

The earth was without form and void. Why is that you ask? How does this apply to you?

and Darkness was upon the face of the deep Perhaps remember being in the womb, before your eyes were opened.

And the spirit of God was upon the face of the waters Womb, remember, now push!

And God said let there be Light! and a smack on the ass to get the breathing started...

And there was Light.

The Beginning

(John 1:1-5)

1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The First Day: Light

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

In the 'beginning' a child's world is DARK and VOID of any WORD.....as one wrapped in child's clothing.....

THE SWADDLING BAND/garment of darkness mentioned in JOB.

Little by little knowledge brings light....through the eye of the beholder....and WORDS.... come forth ....naming everything brought before ...the Child....

as was the case with Adam.....

every soul is an aspect of God.. but yes you are correct, God didn't come down into Jesus just to hang around earth for a few years..

universe too big, too many universes and realities for God to find the time to hang out here and just do this gig.

people have to get over this.. reality is really big and we are not that important.. we are important even to God but we are not the most important.

then again when you believe there is no other life in the universe it explains everything.. but of course the universe is teeming with life!

So John's description is more relevant than what Jesus actually SAID?

another do 1doh1

Matthew 16

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

-----------------------------------------

These are the statements that Jesus made which show His subserviance and obedience to the Father.

...the Father is GREATER than I. John 14:28 & John 10:29

14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

...I do ONLY the Father's Will. John 6:37-39

37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

...I PRAY to the Father. Matthew 26:36-42, Mark 14:32-39 & John 17

Matthew 26:36-42

36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Mark 14:32-39

32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

That is true.

God never took the form of a human. His Son did.

Jesus is not God.

Too bad false religon teaches such falsehoods.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78072502

no... Jesus was born of HUMAN parents ... Mary and Simon (the high priest at that time - they hid her pregnancy to hide his "sin") the story about his "virgin birth" was myth promoted by ROMANS who wrote the New testament to support their ancient pagan beliefs, that their emperors were gods.

Immortal Spirit Beings do not have children ... no need to procreate the way we do ... "god" was not Jesus' father ... not possible ... plain and simple they are different species of humaniods created by OUR CREATOR

god's only "son" was a life form that was created, using his own DNA ... but it did not have "Free Will" because he was not created by OUR CREATOR ... he did not have "Soul/Consciousness" - because only OUR CREATOR has that to give ... no other life forms have it ... not the Angels or demons - they were created to SERVE the "gods" - without question ... no free will - they did as they were told and anyone who knows their "languge" can order them ... that's what "Kabbalah" is - the language of the Angels - and why it remained "hidden" (until now)

so Lucifer was "god's" ONLY "son" but technically he was not his actual son, just a "life-form" that had his DNA
with the same genetic make up, that caused him to desire Power over others ... and "god" gave him permission to do so ... until god realized that he wanted Power over him too ... ha

Lucifer's "rebellion" was "learned behavior" and he and his "father" fought for power - for eons, until Lucifer's planet of exile, was destroyed by god, and a remnant of Lucifers "army" destroyed half of "god's" planet, and they formed a truce - and god gave Lucifer authority over the Earth - which satisfied his lust for Power, because it was the most valued of god's possessions

"gods" and Earthlings are INCOMPATIBLE - by design Our Creator, created seven distinct species of Humans ... we were the first "born", and the last to incarnate - god's species incarnated first, and will be the last to embody physicality, which will allow them to experience LIFE and all it's many dimensions and to fuffill the purpose of their creation (to MASTER Time, Energy, Space and Matter ) ... "god" was originally - one of us, but he was given unique genes, so that he could lead us all - but he altered his own genetics, and instead of mastering his emotion system, he blocked it completely (because he believed emotion are a weakness) and from that moment on, no Virtue ever was expressed by him ... his ego became his dominant intelligence system... and his only desire was to rule over others

Our Solar system was the result of the data collect by the 6 previous explorers of MEST, and what allowed us to become MEST, (physical) and which allowed us to Master it... and move on to the many other Dimension of LIFE - which is eternal (whether you or any other species, participates 0R NOT) believe it or not

God is not...the most plausable. You must have faith that anything in the bible is true and or there is some supernatural being. Every sect believes it has the true god, real meaning of its myths tale. Now you have yours, add it to the pile, along with all the gods who have fallen from favor. You and I agree on every god but one, getting closer and closer to the truth. If I apply my standards, all, gods are either false or at best absent solid evidence. If I just apply your standard, faith, you could believe in any god or anything.

The thing that Jesus did--taught us how to love--would be easy for a God to do, but very hard for a man to do. Jesus was just a man.

All the world's Jesus killers would agree with you, however there are a few things you neglect to consider.

Remember Satan can appear as an angel of light, you must be able to discern the light, most difficult at times, other times very easy.

YOU GTFO

What part of "inspired" is it that you can't seem to understand"

Scripture is inspired.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Further proof the Bible wasn't "divinely" written?

Apparent contradictions.

Sorry...the Bible nor the New Testament wasn't written by God Himself - nor Jesus - nor the Holy Spirit.

You know...like the 10 Commandments were.

It wasn't even dictated word-for-word like the laws were to Moses in Exodus and Deuteronomy.

It DOES have words spoken by both Father God and His Son Jesus, though there are a few verses that have been altered, particularily Matthew 28:19.

The authors of the various manuscripts used for the Bible were inspired, not "written by God" nor dictated. Paul's declaration of such came at a point when the vast majority of the NT was still being written. So books that were considered scripture at that point was pretty much the Old Testament.

Which Bible? Which translation? The KJV is pretty good, but it has it's problems just as the Latin Vulgate has, which is 1200 years older.
