I am sure our military supply pipeline is FILLED to the gills with Chinese made products ... which the US Military will never figure out until there is a war, the pipeline to China is cut off, and the military tries to buy MORE of the products from the US scammer, which of course can not supply them.

The personel in the purchasing offices buying stuff for the US military are NOT the brightest bulbs in the pact. We have a few thousand of them in my town, and most are just drones who are none too bright.

Quality Control Review of purchased products after they are delivered to the military? Virtually never. Not in the budget to do such a thing.

Same reason our "super secure" computer systems have had such holes in them over the last decade or so. The US Government's software "Experts" and computer security "Experts" are some of the dimmest bulbs in the entire high tech world (which is why they are working for the government at the low wages it pays compared to the entire rest of the high tech industry).

NO surprise that this has happened. They were ONLY caught because they didn't check their product to make sure it was clean before they shipped it out to the military, NOT because the military, or the US government, was doing any quality checks on the product itself.

I am in the electroplating biz, but not electronics.

Almost all circuit board shops in the USA have been driven out of business by cheap competition from Asia.

However, there are a few circuit board shops left here.

I heard a rumor about 10 years ago that some shops were only open on paper. They would take drawings and specs and sub out the work to the shops in Asia and then claim they fabbed it here.

I have seen people go to fed prison for less.

You have to fault the DoD plant inspectors as well. They are charged with visiting the physical plant and seeing the parts being made.

The majority of circuit board companies are run by immigrants from India. I know a few.

You can actually get a degree in electroplating in India, something you cannot find in America.

No it doesn't. What you're referring to is not part of the article. It's a comment posted by a chicom bot in the comments section at the bottom where anyone can post. If you know anything about ammo, you know that comment is complete lies.

Ammo suitable for harsh climates is ammo sealed and annealed to high standards. This is a mil-spec standard that requires a robust QA process. Ammo that fail the QA don't make it to the military, instead they are sold to civilians for sporting purposes. Even knowledgeable civilians know such ammo is for target practice only and use better ammo for self defense.

Chicom "standards" and "quality" (lack thereof) are way below mil-spec and even unsafe to use. People get accidentally killed and maimed all the time by chicom ammo that malfunction and blow up in their face! For example, it's not uncommon for the primer of chicom ammo to blow out causing the explosive pressure to come out towards the wrong end of the gun, destroying the gun and seriously injuring the user.

Chicom ammo of any age is not suitable for combat if you care for the life of your troops. In soviet China, soldiers are just cannon fodder slaves, just like they were in soviet Russia, and their "human wave" tactics reflect that mentality. The commie elite don't care if ammo accidentally kills or maims their cannon fodder slaves.

If even newer chicom ammo can't be trusted, then 40 year-old chicom ammo stored to chicom standards (lack thereof) is even worse. The military know this and does not intentionally purchase chicom ammo. Efraim DEFRAUDED the military by delivering a completely different and subpar product than what he sold.

There is no such thing as chicom ammo being more suitable for harsh conditions. That is total lies straight from a chicom bot. It is super obvious shilling too. Don't repeat that lie here or elsewhere. A low-IQ person might believe you and get themselves killed using chicom ammo! You could get someone maimed or killed!

Chicom ammo super cheap and way cheaper than any ammo made by Russians or Americans, yet no prepper buys it. If chicom ammo is more suitable for "harsh climates," why is it so cheap and noone in the gun community wants it? No prepper stocking up for WW3/SHTF is stocking up on chicom ammo.
