Re: Black Sabbath
BLACK SABBATH was told their second album was short one song..it needed more time..then they quickly wrote PARANOID

their 3rd album MASTER OF REALITY was monotonous to me

but with VOL 4 they hit the jackpot in america

Nothing against Sabbath, but I prefer Ozzy's solo career.

Ozzy had some pretty good musicians during his "solo" career.

Re: Black Sabbath
I went a Black Sabbath concert in 78 or 79. Opening act was Van Halen. Didn't really like them before they were famous or after the fact. Sabbath was raw and virile.

A big fan.

In high school I would wear their shirt and led Zeppelin shirt back to back everyday.

Re: Black Sabbath
Yeah right one of the greatest ever. Ozzy shit for brains unremarkably sounds like a genius wizard sage while singing. Can't understand shit when speaks. But he is the nutter everyone loves, tortured soul with loads of personality. Sabbath as diabolical as they seem are really pretty savoy rough and tumble city boys who busted ass to get where they got. Amazing story, the times they came up in and gave us with their haunting heavy but thought provoking sound. Great and timely lyrics in this one on their last one out 2013.

Re: Black Sabbath
When I was 12 years old I bought two albums. They were the very first albums I ever bought. Grand Funk Railroad (Don Mark and Mel) and Black Sabbath , it had Iron Man on it. Forgot the title.

We always had tons of 45's laying around the house. But buying an album was sort of special. At that time my grandmothers 78's were old stuff. It was sort of a joke listening to them. They had Polka's and stuff on them. This was just around the time 8 Track tapes were coming out. Good old days. lols.

Re: Black Sabbath
Well we all thought that the civil war battle lines were drawn between those who support the great Trump and those Marxist and Rino scuz balls. It may actually be drawn between those who are for Sabbath and those against. Though I have GROWN UP SINCE THE 70'S I cannot turn my back on those who created the single greatest beat in all of music (including Beethoven's 5th): PARANOID.
