The Germans attacking anyone to create empire was shear folly.

I pretty much agree with this. Following the great Prussian military traditions, with experienced command structure and advanced tanks and airplanes the only surprising thing is that France wasn't able to put up more of a fight. They had some good tanks, that didn't have a strong leadership and their first modern fighter was only available in small numbers. French tanks couldn't even communicate with each other.

The poor Poles, Belgians, Norwegians, Czechs didn't stand a change. Even the Soviets who put up little fight even though they had overwhelming numbers of lightly armored BT tanks which were rapidly defeated by Panzer III and Panzer IV and their Biplanes were no match for the Luftwaffe.

Later the Soviets had worked out the bugs in their T-34 tanks, was getting better airplanes and learning the tactics required to beat the Wehrmacht and the Germans were stopped and forced to retreat.




The Germans were confident... well most were. Many advised Hitler not to start a 2 front war. It was known that if Germany invaded the Soviet Union the war would have to be won quickly in the East as Germany could never win a war of attrition with the Soviets.

Other world leaders agreed that the Soviet government would crumble. It didn't and even after Germany slaughtered and captured the huge parts of the Red Army they kept creating new armies and attacking some more. At this same time the Wehrmacht had supply line issues and had massive shortages. The Wehrmacht was defeated and forced to move back from the Battle of Moscow which was the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany.

But the National Socialists did not come out of nowhere. Two things led directly to the rise of Hitler:

1. The Allied Starvation Blockade of Germany (engineered by Churchill and International Freemasons), which was even protested for its brutality by Allied troops such as General Sir Herbert Plumer who was stationed on the Rhine and witnessed the starving Germans firsthand. "Freedom and Bread" would become a powerful slogan in the ascent to power of the new National Socialist Workers Party.

2. The International support for a Communist "color revolution" (by the ancestors of the same people who brought you the "Maidan" and "Arab Spring" street battles) which led to vicious street battles in pre-WWII Germany between International Communist proxies and German citizens.

Germans ran out of crystal meth which was powering the soldiers. Dang that's smart.

Stalin enabled Hitler to suceed (easy to see) so he could have it easy taking over europe, unfortunately he ignored the "red orchestra" and allowed hitler to attack first.

Russia lost around 13 million soldiers, more than the Germans did.

Have more respect and learn true history.

Not to mention the juice ruined Germany and as a result ww1 happened. As a result hundreds of parites rose up and nationalist socialist won and moved Germany into a modern economic power in 6 years as something the world had never seen before. Germany was more modern than the USA and becoming its own banking empire. Juice could not have that.

How many Americans have actually read Hitler's declaration of war on the United States. It is really an eye opener when you read the entire text of Hitler's speech. It reads like someone declaring war on the very same Deep State that is today attempting to overthrow Trump.

Dumbest post so far in this thread. Hitler wanted war and he started one. When the Sudetenland crisis happened British PM Neville Chamberlain personally met with Hitler in Munich to work out the Munich Agreement. Germany was given the Sudetenland portion of Czechoslovakia and Hitler promised that Germany had no more territorial ambitions in Europe. War was averted and a peace worked out.

But Adolf Hitler was never a man of his word and 6 months later the German army rolled into the rest of Czechoslovakia. And then Hitler started making demands on Poland for territory. Chamberlain the peacemaker warned Germany not to invade Poland and when in September 1939 Germany rolled into Poland Britain and France declared war.

Churchill wasn't even involved. By the time Churchill became PM Germany had invaded Czechoslovakia, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands and France.

Learn history people. Don't let yourselves be fooled by the Hitler fanboys.
