No political dissent will be allowed on YouTube and only commie far leftist establishment controlled mainstream media will be allowed to cover the news. This is the American treasonous commie globalist deep state's way of trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube and once again control the public narrative and discourse. Of course you are allowed to have free speech as long as you have no means to exercise it and be heard by the world but once you do have the means then your free speech becomes problematic for globalist Commies who want to be the only voices that are heard.

YouTube has no real competition. Their so called competitors are small and have crappy phone apps that barely work or they don't have any app at all like Bitchute for instance. Having a smart phone app available in the Apple and Google stores is very important as the majority of people watch videos on their smart phones and tablets as they are on the go doing other things. You severely limit your user growth if you don't have a good working app available. Another problem is the other smaller competitors don't offer streaming services and ad revenue programs to earn money like YouTube does which encourages more content creation and better quality videos to watch. People are not going to regularly post quality content if they are not monetarily compensated for it. Good cameras, video editing software and even people's time costs money. Google which owns YouTube controls 90% or more of the online advertising. You can't compete with monopoly. Advertising revenue pays for video platforms like YouTube and it's creators to operate.

So why hasn't the Trump admin stepped in and finally done something? Or are they? Isn't there a DOJ investigation going on? I think this will lead to breakup of google, actually. Too late of course.

Trump seems to be ignorant about this and kept in the dark by his handlers who try and control what information reaches him. Even if he knew there probably isn't a lot he can do right now as he is trying to get rid of all the treasonous deep staters in the government who are in open mutiny and blocking almost everything he is trying to do.

A large number of people now get their entertainment and news from platforms like YouTube.

Do you have to be registered to watch their videos? I tried to watch a video and it just sat their trying to load but never played.

No you don't have to be registered to watch their videos but it takes time for their videos to work and in some browsers it doesn't work at all. Bitchute is slow and clunky site and is no real competition for YouTube. It takes lots of money and time to have a video site that works well as YouTube does.

Hence why they are in overdrive to manipulate the discourse and its political interference and its gawdamned illegal.

There is so much creativity on Youtube, endless supply of quality entertainment can be found. I haven't streamed Holy-Wood garbage in years.

They are killing everything good.

I have been getting an email every day it seems for the last two weeks regarding changes to Youtubes terms... My accounts are not active these days as I got way too busy to stay current with them... but i have to imagine all these changes are happening very rapidly...

Another observation I have notices many videos are Auto edited... several minutes of vids missing or torn out... Im sure its the machine algorithms...its too wide spread and instantaneous for actual people to be doing it. Crazy times.
