One time working a shift a coworker let me borrow a season of the newer BBC Dr. Who. Never in my life have I watched Dr. Who. He left the DVD set on the counter and went home. About an hour later a customer walks in...guess who it is? The actor who played Dr.Who in the season the was sitting on the counter next to me had just walked in as a customer. I literally felt like I stepped into the twilight zone and met Dr. Who for real. I come to find out this actor lives in a town close to mine. He just so happened to come in the night my co worker lent me that set. Crazy stuff. I get chills thinking about it.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23374641 If you know a little bit about statistics, shit like this (what we call "extremely unlikely coincidences" or miracles) happen at a frequency of once per month for anyone of us. Literally 1 miracle per month for every human on earth. It's called littlewood's law. It's because we are very bad at estimating probabilities so what we consider "unlikely" is usually pretty common.
