The Publishing world is no different than any other mainstream endeavor; you have to sell out for a number 1, there is no way out if that. I know much about it since my life story has financial value and my father was a publisher in the glory days. I would still have to sell out to make the big money. Trump Jr. likely got between 750k- 2 million in an advance to write the book depending on what deal he struck, but only because he is already an insider and an obvious sell.

Someone like any one of you would get 50k- 300k, then would have to produce a book within a certain period, and sellout to the upper crust to go anywhere in mainstream Pop culture. To be a number 1 on the NYT is like Pop music stardom, it happens as part of a plan. The plan is for him to be President in 2024.
