BIG update Top Pg.3: "What About BOB?" meets "What About Carl?" Psychology Today Suggestion Carl Jung May have been "disturbe
EDITED: 12-07-2019

THIS STATEMENT would be crazy enough if it were just found in a TABLOID
(like "The Sun" or "National Inquirer"...but THIS was
actually stated recently in "The New Yorker,""Psychology Today"
and other periodicals since Jung's THE RED BOOK was published
and his strange "art therapy paintings" were made public:

Carl Jung May have been hiding his own mental illness during his career?

This is a long thread, however if you are a proud owner
of Carl Jung's THE RED BOOK...or if you have studied even
Psychology 101 to understand the vastly important body of
research and discovery by this wonderful multi-disciplined
scholar, then you owe it to yourself to wade through the
information I've put together for us here. WHO WILL STAND
UP FOR JUNG? The GLP community should be the first to
cry: "NO WAY JUNG WAS "CRAZY!"

Two articles: The Wall Street Journal and Psychology Today
Magazine ran parallel articles one day apart questioning
the sanity of this important man, Carl Jung, the Father of
Analytical Psychology. One has to wonder "what's the agenda
here?" Let's look!

and

UNBELIEVABLE! Go ahead...google it yourself...Articles are coming
out now that Freud's creative genius protoge, creator of the concept
"The collective unconscious" and artist Carl Jung...
may have been NUTS! (Hey! I'm just the messenger here,
and of course, I DISAGREE mightily!) Here is the latest
I can find on a quick search (do one yourself!) Here's a
link:

WAT CRAB

CAN A "SHRINK" BE SECRETLY NUTS...AND STILL HAVE
A SUCCESSFUL PRACTICE? AND WHY THIS ATTACK ON JUNG COMING
NOW?

OFFICIAL TRAILER the movie "What About Bob?" There are
all kinds of movies out there about psychiatrists...but
this one sticks out as my favorite with BOTH the patient
(Bill Murray) and the doctor being slightly "on-the-fritz!"

[link to youtu.be (secure)]
FairUSE

Richard Dryfus and Bill Murray are a hilarious team
where we see Dryfus (Dr. Marvin) worried about his REPUTATION
and standing among the psychiatric community when a truly
dedicated "patient" (Bill Murray as Bob) follows him on vacation
in an effort to continue his therapy--uninterrupted even by
Dr. Marvin's family vacation--and begins to stalk him. There
were MOMENTS when the "shrink" was more crazy than his patient!

While it is a great topic for a comedy...preserving one's reputation
(even if challenged by a nutty client) at ANY of the higher
levels of science is a real worry for many professionals
called-on-the-carpet for any new theories which fly in the face of the existing
"status quo." We saw this in the thread on Douglas Vogt's new revelation
about our sun having a 12,000 year cycle at which point it has either a
minor or a major solar micro-nova. This is being challenged right now in
the science circles as we have heard from Ben Davidson at Suspicious Observers.
Thread: Greatest Secret of the United States, Causes of the Ice Age and Nova,

Vogt and Davidson have even been accused of having REAL LIFE
"Cassandra Complexes!" (Where have we head this before?)
Well...if you are a Carl Jung fan--it appears that Carl Jung
is currently being scrutinized for the same reason!

So now...Carl Jung "coined" "THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX"
...because he HAD ONE HIMSELF?

TrippyPillowHug

A MAJOR "soft disclosure" (12-2018 ON GLP HOSTED with "ADRAGON")
by researcher Dr. Douglas Vogt has brought to our attention NEW
INFORMATION about the "secret history of Earth" (which Velikovsky
and others after him attempted to bring forward to a stoic mainstream
science community in the 60's) Now..."Armed" with this new theory,
we can see how it gives a NEW BREATH to the remarkable symbolism
contained in Dr. Jung's "Catastrophe Art" (my own term for Jung's
bizaar painting) in Jung's "RED BOOK" published after his death.
(*I've coined the phrase, "Catastrophe Art" as given this new info
uncovered as an exclusive for the GLP Community will prove Immanuel
Velikovsky most certainly conveyed "end of the world scenarios"
to his friend Dr. Jung which inspired some of his artwork) and
also inspired a new thread.:

No...Not a quake! It's a few 1,000 Carl Jung fans running to
their local bookstores for a REFUND (some are $300-500+) for
the misinterpretation of his original artwork in "The Red Book!"

So...just like the movie "What About Bob?"...we can ask: "What About Carl (Jung?)"

OFFICIAL TRAILER FOR "WHAT ABOUT BOB?"

The movie (above) is what most people's exposure to psychiatry (who have not
had the personal joy of actually working with one personally) with their ideas
shaped by "shrinks in movies" (and their nutty patients) from mainstream Hollywood.
Richard Dryfus plays the classic Freudian Psychiatrist (Dr. Marvin)--a spin off
of Kelsey Grammar's "Frasier" series from 1993-2004 which came first--while
Bill Murray plays the wacko "Bob" who is so keen on having a resolution to his "phobias"
he can't wait for the good doctor to finish his trip and stalks the him creating
a hilarious vacation farce. It's a great flick...even if a little misleading about
doctor/patient relationships.

But let's look at a REAL "shrink"...Carl Jung who has had some run-ins
lately with mainstream psychiatry (the chemical straight-jacket providers)
in what I believe is an "agenda" by Big Pharma to change our view of
traditional "talking cures" like Analytical Psychology inspired by Jung in favor of their "A.B.C. named chemical
"fixes.

January 1, 2015 I hosted this thread for the GLP family:
Thread: Big UPDATE pg 7!!Part 2. The "Father of Modern Psychology," Carl Jung Kept Planetary "Doom" Secret for 80 years! Update/Warning se

In the thread above I came across an amazing video--a Tour of Carl Jung's RED BOOK
--to see very personal and private artwork created (but NOT explained)
by the genius of Carl Jung during his life. This book, The Red Book
--an effort to profit by revealing personal diaries and artwork by Jung's
heirs and certain art dealers who compiled the book (it was never an actual
creation by Carl Jung himself--hence explains the reason the artwork was
MISUNDERSTOOD and misinterpreted.)

Look at the video presentation of Jung's artwork and tell me
(keeping in mind the theories in the EDITS section as you look)
if you don't see very accurate symbolic presentations in the
paintings of things that look like space weather disasters!

For an example, doesn't this painting (found in The RED BOOK)
seem to be depicting the day of a solar micro-nova as Vogt/Davidson
describe it? I don't think this is just a "sunny day...I'm ready for
a picnic theme!" Jung didn't just paint "pretty pictures"--these were
done as "personal and private therapy" to attempt to integrate into
his own subconscious mind images Velikovsky would have shared that
were too scary for him reconcile in his waking thoughts.
(Even his own heirs--who we can't actually be sure knew
what it was the Velikovsky shared with their relative before
he died--probably didn't realize Jung wouldn't have wanted
those paintings compiled into a commercial book without
some context around the more "spooky images" people are
misinterpreting that's actually about space weather disasters past and future!)

QUESTION: The painting below (by Carl Jung) appears as
one of his "art pieces" in THE RED BOOK. Does this scary
vision lend ammunition to the argument Jung had "inner
demons" as he "hid his mental illness"...or (as you will
see below w/energy comparison is THIS one of many space-
related ideas conveyed to Jung by IMMANUEL VELIKOVSKY

(during their decade's-long secret friendship?)

A "Virtual Tour of Carl Jung's The RED BOOK.

Shortly after this video, I stumbled across a very unflattering article
on Carl Jung in Psychology Today suggesting that Jung, himself, might
be mentally ill. Psychology Today called Carl Jung "Disturbed" and
haunted by "Demons" for his Red Book (catastrophe) Art!
[link to www.psychologytoday.com (secure)]

Here is a very recent quote from the first link in the Edits (above)
that is actually hard to believe MADE IT INTO PRINT and
wasn't scratched out in red ink by the magazine's editor!
How on earth do they come up with this stuff? (No...I do
NOT believe this to be the truth about Jung--it is classic
"yellow journalism!")

Over the course of 16 years, Jung recorded everything he experienced in these unconscious journeys. Some of the material ended up filling 205 large pages in the red book. The book consists of intricate, colorful, wildly detailed drawings and writings. “The Red Book,” as it was later called, stayed locked up in a vault after Jung’s death. It was finally published in 2009 as The Red Book and is now available for sale.

The New York Times describes the story told by the Red Book:

The book tells the story of Jung trying to face down his own demons as they emerged from the shadows. The results are humiliating, sometimes unsavory. In it, Jung travels the land of the dead, falls in love with a woman he later realizes is his sister, gets squeezed by a giant serpent and, in one terrifying moment, eats the liver of a little child.
[End Quote]

And more from Psycology Today's article:

[Quote less than 50%]

[Quote Psychology Today article less than 50%]
Although Jungians have been quick to downplay any suggestion
that the book ["The RED BOOK"]records more than its author's
spiritual crisis or a foretaste of his evolving intellectual
path, the book, which Jung christened Liber Novus (Latin for "New Book"),
documents such matters as his conversations with the winged
"Philemon" during his daytime walks. By that point, the
Swiss psychiatrist had been treating schizophrenia for several
years. And though Shamdasani insists that Jung was engaging
in a controlled experiment—"There wasn't anything like a psychosis"
—the wrinkle in that story is that Jung's unusual hallucinations
appear to have been involuntary. Were they therefore signs of madness?

Indeed, it's worth asking whether Jung today would be at risk of
receiving the diagnosis "psychosis risk syndrome." The DSM-5 task force
is currently formulating the term to include hallucations and delusions.
[END Quote]
NOTE: Sonu Shamdasani was not a medical psychiatrist but
rather an Art Dealer/Historian. He would have had zero
"context" to understand many of the images Shamdasani
would include in THE RED BOOK were Jung's very private
therapy sessions in which he attempted to integrate into
his own subconscious the very disturbing reports from
his friend Velikovsky concerning the catastrophic history
of Earth. Without context for these images, now, come people
with an "agenda" to smear Jung's reputation and discredit
"the talking-cure" (non-drug based therapy) of Analytical
Psychology (the type of therapy we saw in "What About Bob.")

This video is the latest in the series informing the
public of disturbing NEW INFORMATION about Earth's
"catastrophic geology"--this one Nov. 2019 from Dr. Dunning
and Ben Davidson (of S.O.)

In a 1988 study Jungian analyst Laurie Layton Schapira explored what she called
the "Cassandra Complex" in the lives of two of her analysands.[4]

One of Carl Jung's "catastrophe artworks"
found in his THE RED BOOK. If you didn't know
Jung and Velikovsky were friends, you might look
at this scary image and also (like Psychology Today
Magazine believed) think Jung had some "inner
disturbing fears." But...sometimes a "Cigar is
just a Cigar..." and it depicts real space weather
events coming up in the night skies.

Thread: Dr. Carl Jung's "Catastrophe-Art" Meets Velikovski, Vogt, Davidson and the Solar Micro-Nova--Did Jung KNOW?
In one of several threads (linked above) I exposed Jung's personal friendship with
"rogue scientist for the 50's/60's:" Immanuel Velikovsky. This fact still
remains a relative secret but one that is critical to understanding the
confusion even today around Jung's collected paintings, artwork and calligraphy
--The RED BOOK.

Velikovsky is author of "Worlds in Collision" and the subject of the PBS documentary
on him I included in the first thread) shed a great deal of light
on to why Jung would create visuals that suggested he had "personal
demons" (he didn't, of course) as Psychology Today authors suggested.

Take a look in this 1970's PBS documentary at some of the theories which
Velikovsky was putting forward to a very skeptical science community between
the 40's and 60's when he was "secret friends" to Carl Jung. At the 2:50 min mark
we can hear an actual recording of Velikovsky, himself, speaking to a college class
on how "Victorian" (outdated) most of the textbooks they will be studying really are
(and even are today in 2019.) AT the end of the video there is a short interview with
Velikovsky as he describes a "mental trauma inherited by every man woman and child
on the planet today--a shared "collective memory" of Earth in upheaval that causes
underlying mental illness (a desire to "repeat disaster" to be able to integrate
it into the subconscious mind.) I think a 2nd summary is the most interesting summary
of the video and it starts around the 43:00 min mark with
Professor Seismore of Glasgow University providing and intro
as Velikovsky speaks after him. Enjoy!

55 Minute duration (a MUST WATCH to wrap your mind around what
Jung would have been "working through" in his own personal psychological
reality/dissonance when hearing of these things. WHAT WOULD YOU PAINT
with such information?

Take a look in this 1970's PBS documentary at some of the theories which
Immanuel Velikovsky held--and most certainly shared with Carl Jung in their
long friendship--and it will give you a very CLEAR IDEA as to what certain
original art Jung created (and not to be commercially published) from their
collaboration!

Such info from the above documentary might appear as some of the RED BOOK
artwork--and without CONTEXT lead someone NOT familiar with Jung's close
collaboration with psychiatrist/Cassandra Complex sufferer Immanuel Velikovsky
to create "nightmares" in art--a suggestion Jung made to
his own clients to work through their own psychological
issues (here are a few of Jung's paintings from the RED BOOK):

KhepriANDjung
This beetle image (the Goddess Khepra in
ancient pre-flood Egypt some 12,000 years ago)

velaUPvelaDown
Appearing in Jung's THE RED BOOK, this
painting--if you understand Vogt/Davidson's
theories on the Solar Micro-Nova cycle of 12,000
years--you can see the whole theory in symbols
right there! Also by using the shape of the Cartouche
--a special symbol in Egyptian hieroglyphics to
designate royalty or "importance"--as in "this is
an important idea" we have Jung's reference to
ancient Egypt having fallen victim to at least one
catastrophic space weather disaster.

INSIDE THE CARTOUCHE (2 opposing shapes like 2 "E's")
This is an ancient symbol for Thunderbolt...or
catastrophe from space/lightening:

TRIDENTarghaNOA1
A "spooky coincidence" with Carl Jung's using the
"double E symbol above" in the movie "KNOWING"...
We hear Nicholas Cage explain to his friend:
"E.E. isn't a DATE...It means "EVERYONE ELSE"
(where everyone-else would be involved in the next
disaster predicted in a numerology paper found in
a school's TIME CAPSULE.) Did they get this chilling
prediction from Carl Jung's research and understand
Jung's association with Immanuel Velikovsky? I think
they did!

No, I don't think Carl Jung had a "Cassandra Complex"
(although I wouldn't be surprised if he believed his
friend Velikovsky suffered from it and why he ended up
developing the definition for the syndrome)...but was
misunderstood due to his own decision to remain SILENT
about what he knew about Earth's hidden history.

And...No, Jung was NOT "disturbed" (as Psychology Today
Magazine holds)...Jung was AWAKENED!

BOTTOMLINE SUMMARY FOR THIS THREAD (11-17-2019 edit):

There's a great deal of information in this thread risking
our losing the actual "golden-thread" through all the information
for what I'm trying to bring forward concerning Jung, Velikovsky, misinterpreations
of Jung's "Therapy Artwork" and an AGENDA by BIG PHARMA
TO "SMEAR" Carl Jung's good name and his body of research.

Re-post (below) for today's discussion hopefully will
include what has turned out to be my own personal SUMMARY and
BOTTOMLINE to this look into the controversy surrounding
Carl Jung's RED BOOK and his being called-out recently
on being "mentally ill himself, while deliberately hiding
this important handicap from the public"--a TOTAL lie.

Here ya go for my own "take:"

nothing new, whoever red them had the impression they were mental
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77427388

Commercial "ART" can be interpretted by the viewer easily
as long as they have a CONTEXT for what the image the artist
is trying to convey to his audiance. But the "art" in Carl Jung's
THE RED BOOK was compiled AFTER his death and those compiling the
various loose papers, diaries and what Jung used as "therapy artwork"
that came out of a bank vault for his heirs totally lacks CONTEXT
to be able to be understood correctly, AC.7388!

It is possible Jung's heirs didn't even know the extent of the
information (some of which is still "classified" by the CIA as
we saw with "The Adam and Eve Story" for what Velikovsky would
have known as an "insider" at upper tiers of science in the 50's
and 60's...and which carries a great emotional burden to embrace.)

The "misunderstanding" of what is "ART" and what is
in fact "PRIVATE THERAPY DRAWINGS/PAINTINGS"--kept secret
for some 80 years (and not originally meant to be commercial art)
in Jung's case is lending misunderstood interpretations
and to a very real "attack" of not only his reputation,
and his mental state, but the wonderful body of research and
theory he is credited for bringing to the world.

YOU ALSO ARE NOT LOOKING AT AN "AGENDA" (BY YOUR COMMENT!)

I believe that part of this new "Gee...let's all agree
Carl Jung was mentally ill" smear campaign is the general
COMPETITION (which has HUGE REVENUE INTERESTS AT STAKE)
between traditional "talking cures" of psychiatry/psychology
and the BIG PHARMA mega-take-over of what's termed "the
chemical-straightjacket" (treating mental conditions with
a "band-aide" of chemicals/pills rather than a genuine
effort to meet people one-on-one with a qualified professtional.) It's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!

CashUnderMAT

So at first glance, a thread about "juicy NEW DIRT" dug
up on a famous personality like Carl Jung being "mental"

(who actually
represents THE WHOLE FIELD OF traditional treatment of mental illness/trauma
with one-on-one personal treatment in Jung's Analytical Psychiatry)
and his having been strongly INFLUENCED by a famous "rogue scientist"
(Immanuel Velikovsky) so his personal "THERAPY ART" is
disturbed or "doomy"
and his THE RED BOOK as "proof" for this conclusion--we
need to be vigilant in trying to see WHO BENEFITS from
convincing the public (right NOW) that Jung was "mentally ill?" WHAT'S THE MONEY SAY?

Certainly, the misunderstanding of Jung's personal therapy
art to HIDE his friendship with a scientist that many mainstream scientists still find a THREAT (Velikovsky) we
can't lose sight of the fact that Jung's reputation, his
theories and his incredible genius NEED our support. Or
we run the risk of adding just another level of PROGRAMMING
we accept from BIG PHARMA and others who would attack
this great body of research and this man without QUESTION.

QUESTION THINGS THAT "DON'T ADD UP!"

Because "there's a PONY under...ALL those alligators!"

P.S. My vote is that corporate sponsors (like BIG PHARMA)
(BIG MEDICINE) are the ones behind the smear campaign on
Carl Jung--these are the only ones who would benefit by
the public turning away from the "traditional talking-cures"
of Analytic Psychology AND OTHER NON-DRUG-BASED THERAPIES.

I am assuming that your information is PRE 1990's right?
I mean...lots of people are still running around with
the "old school" party line that totally ignores CURRENT
discoveries about what is going on with the climate
changes. That is just fine...if that is what you are thinking,
however, one of the motivations for me to host this thread
to so that we can all get on "the same page" with regard
to the new sciences (especially "catastrophic geology"
and "catastrophic art-therapy" from Carl Jung)...as well
as EXPOSING current BIG PHARMA AGENDA against the "talking

"...always FOLLOW THE MONEY!"

Have you looked over the videos in the Edit section of
my introduction? I think you may have missed this information
that has been circulating on GLP this past year with
regard to "soft disclosures" from Douglas Vogt and Ben
Davidson. You may find it very interesting.

But sadly...part of the reason why there is such a "push
back" against new theories on Global Warming is because
people are VERY INVESTED in their education and their
taking what has been circulated in mainstream science
for decades...and they just don't want to open their
minds to new ideas. Below is a new video from Ben Davidson
that goes into what the BIG CHALLENGE is right now with
the various debates on climate change. It may be a good
place to start. Try to keep an open mind...new theories
are pointing away from the long-held ideas in science now.

Getting back to CARL JUNG'S "DEMONS" (in his artwork)
If you listen carefully to the video above about
what Ben Davidson is calling "Climate FORCING" (from
other than man-made sources)...you can SEE EASILY what
Carl Jung was thinking when he painted this one strange
painting (in his RED BOOK.) However, OUT-OF-CONTEXT from
space-weather info, this picture would be creepy as
applied to Carl Jung's "subconscious mind!" It's all about
energy and energy exchanges.

that might be confusing...unless you watched the trailer

Jung is one of my all time heroes...and I grieve for
both Jung and Velikovsky that they were forced (by the
"Good Old Boy Club" of stoic scientists of their time)
to keep their friendship a secret for fear of its impact
on Jung's budding new field of Analytical Psychology.

It is even more MIND-BLOWING that people who have analyzed
the collection of Jung's "unpublished artwork and manuscripts"
in THE RED BOOK could be looking at it TOTALLY OUT OF CONTEXT
for the insights it could have given for "catastrophic
astronomy/geology" which are now viable sciences in their
own class. (See Steinbacher's geology videos--just brilliant!)

Rather many suggested his paintings showed a "disturbed mind"
since they did not realize Velikovsky was feeding Jung
catastrophic earth history with information NOT public during
either of their lifetimes.

Indeed, Jung is "special" and someone needs to stand up
to these "psuedo art historians" to let them know that
Jung's RED BOOK was never meant to be published by the

Part 2 of the "Virtual Tour of Carl Jung's THE RED BOOK"

[link to youtu.be (secure)]
FairUSE

I don't necessarily abide by this particular narrator's
"take" on some of the Jung paintings...but the video is
rally well done and if you watch it on the BIG SCREEN
you will be able to see some of the Jung paintings and
"see" the space-weather link to many of them (not all of course since that was never Jung's intention for this art
book.)

IN CONTEXT with the videos in my introduction on the
space weather connection to some of his paintings, make it
an exercise to look at the paintings and see for yourself
if you can decipher which paintings would have been AFTER
VISITING with his "secret friend" Immanuel Velikovsky.
(Of course, you need to have a slight backgound of who
Velikovsky was and what his theory about "catastrophobia"
he related to Jung himself with his various theories about
our "unfriendly solar system!") Watch the video I've posted
on Velikovsky in Post #2 if you need some pointers on this!

I think you will find it a fun exercise!

Enjoy!

Bump for to read through it all. But I pulled out the movie and watched it again.

Funny story line. I actually have a neighbor like Bob. He ('John') rambles on about a variety of subjects and never in sequence. He showed up in my garage and front door unannounced. He would sneak up on people outside their homes after 9 P.M. and just start talking - for hours if you let him. Being nice to him makes him think you're his best buddy.

Seriously - there are some people not know no boundaries and desperately seek attention. I avoid him (and his wife) like the plague now.

I'm surprised you didn't bring up the 12 Monkeys movie.

We all know our own future, we are all going to die. Whether we all die at once, or organically and individually really is meaningless, it's how you live in each moment that's important.

Focusing on the inevitable makes you weak, not to mention missing out on the fun things in life, like surfing a 35 foot wave, to making love to a beautiful woman atop a Mayan pyramid.

Casandra missed out on her beautiful moments, by fixating on the future.

So, Ben Davidson has not TOTALLY endorsed Vogt's theory

by the way if you fast forward to 1:11:15 of this video Ben Davidson shows that the math for Vogt's mile high tsunami doesn't add up, he dose leave himself a out saying there is evidence of massive waves and inundation, but if you think of Noah and the 40 days and nights of torrential rain it would account for that.

fast forward to

Hey...Do you have access to the longer version of
the video--the 1 hr and 47 minute one? I would really
like to see that extra 25 minutes I missed.

Thanks for mentioning me in your thread link--I had missed
that when I read through it in January. Was I supposed to
post something? Let me know if I dropped the ball there! lol!

I'm sorry to disagree with you on this--that Davidson
is "NOT on-board" with Douglas Vogt, Storm2Come. Davidson had
Douglas Vogt at his winter conference as a "featured guest speaker"
(a very big honor for someone Davidson doesn't agree with)
so even though they may disagree on "how many feet high
a tsunami wave might be"--Hey, the Sumatra Tsunami was only
about 15 feet high and it killed 250,000 people--I think
this would be a very minor point between them.

I actually didn't hear that when I listened to the video
the first time!) I doubt that if there were MAJOR DISAGREEMENTS
with Vogt on the bigger points, he wouldn't have invited Vogt to
speak and present his theory.

As far as "Noah's 40 days and 40 nights of rain..."
You realize that the story of Noah is NOT the same flood
myth as that which Vogt and Davidson are referring, right?
The global tsunami as explained by both Vogt and Davidson's
videos come from the EXTREME HEAT from the sun (on one side
of the planet) producing STEAM from the oceans and lakes
which then fall as snow and gather in a tsunami from a
rotation stoppage at Earth's equator. This has zero to do
with weather and storms causing 40 days of rain...it's a
completely different process and a completely different
timeline. I have heard both Robert Schock and Stephen Mehler
report that the flood myth of the Bible is actually closer
to the 5,000 year mark rather than back to the 12,00 year
mark Vogt's solar micro-nova theory has it as. Also It has
been proven that the flood of "Noah" in the Bible was a
local flood to the Mediterranean--not a "global flood."
(Not doing this to criticize you, but to clarify this
because I have seen people making that comparison and it's
not jiving with the Vogt theory.)

I will check that link you posted. It is all very confusing
when Davidson goes into the Chan Thomas document...and I
am sure that I heard Vogt really "panning" that as an
effort by the CIA to discredit his own theory. I guess it doesn't really
matter at this point--the most important thing is to get
some of the info out whether it's The Adam and Eve Story
or Vogt's video, right? Whatever is coming is doesn't
sound very good.

These threads aren't "competing" threads, Storm and if
we can get the word out-even if the number of feet in a
global tsunami varies between them--then that is a good
thing to have them both aired in public. I especially liked
your thread, as well. really well done. Thanks for posting!

cheers

Not sure that's a real picture of him...lol!

I didn't know all that about Freud but it wouldn't
surprise me. Many people who go into psychiatry/psychology
have their own "issues" they are searching to heal--hence
the "draw" to that science. That old saying, you know:
"Physician, Heal Thyself."

With all the changes in the medical industry in the
past some 30 years--especially the rise of the LGBT, etc.
there has had to be some kind of VAST melt-down of the
original "mission" which great minds like Carl Jung started
out with to be so very highjacked. But we've seen this
kind of strange "evolution" in the Churches as well. Who
can say what's next.

All I know is that whom ever is "in charge" wants to
rewrite history for their own agenda.

Thanks for your comments. Interesting.

Freud may have represented Kronos/Saturn; the old one who
ate his children. (Jung) Even Jung's name suggests the child,
while Freud's name suggests joy, but not love; more like a
Saturnian Santa with a dark side. His Krampus side.

Freud hated the way Jung usurped his high position as the foremost Western psychologist and feared that Jung wanted to
kill him, which was a massive projection.

The major philosophical difference between the two was the
Freudian atheism/reductionism vs. the Jungian metaphysics and holism.

All of the world's God affirming theologies hold an
Aristotelian concept of the four causes. The atheists reduce
this to three causes by eliminating the 4th cause; the telos,
or reason for a thing to exist. [link to www.etymonline.com (secure)]

Also Jung did not refer to them as "art".

This distinction never made sense to me until we connect
it with OP's hypothesis that it is predictive of natural
future events and not merely aesthetic attempts.

(of course we can bundle the disciplines of art, science, religion etc. in a holistic sense - individuation implies this)
