Funny how they treat the fire lane as free parking and the cops won't do anything. I watched a approximately 30 year old gang-banger with tatted up knuckles buy $300 plus in high end groceries on EBT then damned if he wasn't parked right up in the door.

This is a matter of LIFE OR DEATH! Given the recent string of terrorist attacks at Walmart, lingering around in a long receipt checking line is no bueno! After you pay for yo stuff, just get out ASAP.

Tanning is a natural thing when going out into the sun. Some people don't like the risk of sunning and opt to remain pale and liberally use sunscreen. Some use spray tans. My point is it's a personal choice and has nothing to do with cultural appropriation. Having grown up on a farm and getting a tan every summer due to my work outside, I can assure you that blacks were the furthest thing form my mind.

My point is, also, that blacks want to criticize whites for every little thing whether it has any merit or not (and it usually does not), but they ignore their own similar behavior. Do not say that blacks don't straighten their hair, that they don't wear suits/jeans/heels, that they don't bleach their skin or hair, they live in houses (instead of huts) and drive cars. More do it than not. I have been living around blacks for years (Atlanta), so don't say it's not true. There is a world of difference between traditional black culture and what passes for black today. Personally, I'm not criticizing the blacks for doing this. Heck, I would do it, too, if I were black. But I am pointing out the sheer hypocritical attitude they have. Blacks are becoming the kings/queens of entitlement these days.

And if you want to debate, try to do it the responsible and mature way and use facts rather than starting out of the gate with a baseless insult. People see that and think you are very young and immature. You need to grow up a bit if you want to be taken seriously.

As for red flag laws, that is not disarming the people and is not a Constitutional discussion. There have always been groups not eligible for gun ownership and places where guns are not allowed. Red Flag Laws are merely a process to temporarily disarm only those specific individuals who are determined by a court to meet objective criteria for dangerousness. A law enforcement officer, family member, or household member (such as a roommate or domestic partner) may petition a court to hold a hearing over whether a person poses a significant risk of danger to self or others, and then temporarily revoke his or her right to purchase or possess firearms because of that risk. It can be short-term of a couple of weeks or up to a yearlong order is the risk is serious but not necessarily imminent. The order automatically expires without a new hearing for renewal, and the gun(s) must be returned within 3 days, and the name REMOVED from lists of disqualified persons at not cost to that individual. These laws protect people from those who are unstable. Let's face it, statistically, untreated serious mental illness plays a key role in most suicides and acts of mass public violence, including those committed with firearms. Now, I'm a big supporter of our Constitution, but I don't see this as a constitutional issue, but a safety issue. To be a Constitutional issue, you would have to be disarming segments of people for no purpose.

The store I work at does it occasionally if let’s say they’re in a situation where someone pays for something then goes to the front of the store to pick it up - bags of ice, salt and things like that.

I find Walmart sort of intrusive. And I don’t fully understand it? That’s bags of groceries. They look at the receipt and look in one single bag...how does that help anything?? Seems more like a scare tactic then an actual check.

Wan Mart takes pics everywhere in store. In some states they are filing criminal charges and getting warrants for people at self checkouts whose face can be associated with an account number and tracked. People who had problems and no one to help them.

They get a traffic stop and find out they have outstanding warrants from a fucking faulty check out at Wan Mart.

Just so you may know.
The cashier at a manned check out line can do what is called an "action code 61 - Reprint Previous Receipt".

My guess is that the cashier overseeing the self checkouts can to the same for any of the checkouts in the zone.

As I stated earlier in this thread, If any employee wants to see my receipt now, they may, but it will cost $10.00 for them to look at mine for about 30 seconds. For free they can reprint it at the register. Lets see just how interested they are when it costs them.

The Walmart store That I had issues with has met with a lot of resistance and has all but suspended the policy.

I'm proud to have been part of reducing/ending the policy.

Not going to watch the video. But, I have not shown a receipt in years. People tell me it's rude, I respond, it's no rude, it's rude of someone to try and pick through my new personal belongings. If they suspect me of stealing, call the police and review the cameras to be disappointed and embarrassed. My personal items are "personal" and my time is not free.

The store has a right to ask for proof that the items in your cart have been purchased by you on that day, to ensure you are not stealing a cart load of items and just walking out of the store.
