Would cause intense acceleration at 66000 mph, that would not only be felt but be extremely destructive. I think he makes a good point with this.

because local stars are hundreds of light years away and the diameter of earth's orbit around the sun is 16 light minutes. Bascially the distance we travel every 6 months is completely insignificant when observed stars at a distance.

In movies, when somebody gets sucked out of spacecraft, or shot out from the airlock... It's only because that ship is pressurized, just like an airplane at altitude. But notice that when an away team, puts on a spacesuit, and explorers a ship that had been attacked, with no crew, and or abandoned; they don't constantly keep getting sucked out of that ship just because they enter it.

Except the Earth and everything on it being in orbit around the Sun would not feel that acceleration. Orbit is freefall. You don't feel acceleration in freefall.

You do. The stars and constellations rise at different times throughout the year. Some that are visible in the middle of the night in December are behind the sun in June.

Nothing to debunk since it's legit science. A pendulum on a low friction bearing will swing in a fixed plane as the earth turns underneath it. On the poles, the pendulum's path will appear to move a full 360 degrees in 24 hours. On the equator it will not move at all. If the earth were flat there would be no difference between the poles and the equator.

Every 6 months we are looking at the other hemisphere of the night sky, 180 degrees away from where we were looking 6 months before. There should be two distinctly different views every 6 months.

And there are. different constellations are up at different times when viewed 6 months apart and some aren't visible as they are behind the sun.
