Are you ready to step before the Almighty and answer the question; "What did you do with the life I gave you"?
I'm not trying to scare you, but have you ever wondered what you would do if an angel of death knocked on your door and said "It's time to leave"? Are you ready to step before the Almighty and answer the question; "What did you do with the life I gave you"?

We people quarrel and disagree on many things, but we agree that once in a while we each leave here, right?

Are you ready? If not, get things right with God.

Re: Are you ready to step before the Almighty and answer the question; "What did you do with the life I gave you"?
I have recently been pondering this very point.
I have reached the conclusion I spent my time enjoying the journey, and neglected the destination.
I was extremely fortunate with the life I was given, a partner standing right next to me 24hrs a day for most of it,
the opportunity to have so many different occupations, travel to anywhere I wanted, an the company of different
good friends through different stages.

Illness played a large part, but I was fortunate enough to be able to place the correct amount of importance to it,
and enjoy all the other facets of my life.

Unfortunately I have now come to realize I could have done much more with my life.

I suppose this is just another example of hindsight being 20-20.

Stay well

Good question OP, unfortunately many will miss the point.
"Walk humbly before your GOD"

I think that OT guys like Job and David had it right. They understood who GOD is, and who they are.
They were humble before GOD and all they did was with the understanding that GOD is supreme.
They didn't go preaching to the world about GOD, they just lived their lives with the understanding that GOD is to be honored above all and didn't have egos and pride about who they were as individuals.
David was a man after GOD's own heart - he hunted, killed, was a warrior and had more than a few wives.
Did GOD condemn him for any of these things? No.
He took another man's wife, and married women from outside the 'faith' or tribe - these were his big downfalls.
He was human like the rest of us and had faults, but GOD loved him because he put GOD first and trusted GOD.

What have I done with my life?
Good thing to ponder.
I try to put GOD first and honor Him by being honest, truthful and I worship Him in my own way. Walking in the woods giving thanks for the creation and beauty around me, for the provision He has blessed me with, for the ability to work and do things.
And to be humble before Him. He is the Creator.

You should read the book of James. Hopefully you'll come to a different conclusion
