Re: Technology of Craftsmanship
So in the 2nd episode of The Witcher there is a class for young witches to learn magic. Or whatever, lol here's the recap. Hope not to spoil it for you.

Yennefer's story is basically a lost installment of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She is taken in by Tissaia de Vries (MyAnna Buring), a powerful sorceress who runs a Witch Academy at Aretuza. It's here where Yennefer and other young girls are taught how to harness their powers in a series of tests, including levitation, telepathy, and even catching lightning in a bottle. "Magic is organizing chaos," Tissaia explains. But Yennefer struggles to keep up with her classmates and lashes out in ways that are harmful to both herself and others. At one point, she attempts to kill herself by cutting her wrists. "Your job is to control chaos, not become it," Tissaia tells the self-destructive farm girl. It's through Istredd, though, we learn about the continent's past, specifically, the history of elves. The big talking point running through the episode is to do with the elven people: who they are, what they did, and where they are now. According to Istredd, the elves were the original sorcerers, before humans and monsters ever roamed the continent. It was the elven mages that taught the first humans how to turn chaos into magic. In return, the humans slaughtered the elves, so that they could pretend the power always belonged to them.

In today’s technological world of online and offline, many people Set their day with foreign energy. Many times from the obsidian brick in their hands.
Starting outside of self and outside of close proximity has been shown constantly to be unhealthy lifestyles because of the way information travels and the concentric rings of life it effects including sensory and sensory feedback.

For centuries, scholars assumed that Greek myths about fierce warrior women they called Amazons were just that — myths.

But new archaeology confirms what modern historians like Adrienne Mayor from Stanford University had begun to suspect: Amazons were very much real, and they were actually Scythian nomads.

Earlier this month in Russia, archaeologists found the gravesites of four female warrior women — buried together along with their weapons. Mayor says it's the first time archaeologists have discovered remains of warrior women within a range of ages, from about 45 to 50 years old down to about 12 years old.

“These four women were companions in warfare, probably died in a skirmish and were buried together,” she says.

Notorious ancient Greek historians never doubted that Amazon women existed, she says, but modern historians and scholars haven’t been able to track down the myth’s origins and ultimately believed the warriors were products of the Greeks’ imagination.

Historians thought the Amazons mentioned in mythology were a variety of things: stand-ins for Persians, invented just to be slaughtered by Greek male warriors, or used to serve as propaganda to oppress Greek women, Mayor says.

“They thought of them as symbols of a sort of monstrous women because their lifestyle was the opposite of proper Greek female roles,” she says.

But the new discovery proves otherwise.

When it comes to giving birth these days, more and more moms are forgoing hospitals for their living rooms, bathtubs, and apparently, the most beautiful seas in the world. Whether it helps them feel close to nature or more bonded with their children, these "unusual" birthing places are becoming way more common. In what appears to be the coolest, most unique water birth we've ever seen, one mom gave birth in the Red Sea and nearby local was able to capture the entire thing.

Egyptian news outlets say that many expecting moms have gone to Dahab to give birth to their babies in the Red Sea recently, though the reason why is unclear.

Despite the growing trend, experts warn that giving birth in the open ocean could be risky. According to Live Science, sea and ocean births haven't been studied enough to actually call them "safe." And Miami-based doctor Dr. Saima Aftab told Live Science the high salt content of the ocean could seriously harm a baby if they were to accidentally take a gulp of the water during the birthing process.

Still, while it may not be recommended, this mom and her baby seemed happy and healthy following their incredible birth experience.
