Ancient never-before-seen viruses discovered locked up in Tibetan glacier

For the past 15,000 years, a glacier on the northwestern Tibetan Plateau of China has hosted a party for some unusual guests: an ensemble of frozen viruses, many of them unknown to modern science.

Scientists recently broke up this party after taking a look at two ice cores from this Tibetan glacier, revealing the existence of 28 never-before-seen virus groups.

Ancient Assyrian rock carvings in Iraq show procession of gods riding mythical animals

Stunning ancient rock carvings that portray an Assyrian king paying homage to his gods amid a procession of mythical animals have been unearthed in the Kurdistan region in the north of Iraq, after being hidden for several years to prevent damage by the Islamic State militant group (ISIS).

The Assyrian carvings, which are almost 3,000 years old, were uncovered late last year by Italian and Iraqi archaeologists in the Faida district, south of the city of Duhok, about 300 miles (480 kilometers) north of Baghdad, according to the University of Udine in Italy.

Sargon, who ruled from 722 B.C. until 705 B.C., is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, where he is said to have defeated the Kingdom of Israel in an invasion. He was the father of his successor Sennacherib, who ruled until 681 B.C. and rebuilt the ancient city of Nineveh alongside the Tigris River, on the outskirts of modern Mosul.

Sennacherib's canals transformed the core regions of the Assyrian Empire from relatively dry farms into highly productive irrigation agricultural areas.

"These irrigation networks with their associated monuments were part of highly structured, centrally planned and elite-sponsored programs that engineered the landscape of the Assyrian core," he said.

To find intelligent alien life, humans may need to start thinking like an extraterrestrial

HONOLULU — Our hunt for aliens has a potentially fatal flaw — we're the ones searching for them.

That's a problem because we're a unique species, and alien-seeking scientists are an even stranger and more specialized bunch. As a result, their all-too human assumptions may get in the way of their alien-listening endeavors. To get around this, the Breakthrough Listen project, a $100-million initiative scouring the cosmos for signals of otherworldly beings as part of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), is asking anthropologists to help unmask some of these biases.

"It's kind of a joke at Breakthrough Listen," Claire Webb, an anthropology and history of science student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said here on Jan. 8 at the 235th meeting of the American Astronomical Society (AAS) in Honolulu. "They tell me: 'We're studying aliens, and you're studying us.'"

The elongated skulls kept coming up. They liked living within the stone builders creations more than modern man. The Egyptian mountain of creation seemed to arise because of a certain environmental memory no matter if in the woods, stone, sea, island, space, etc.

Stone is movement and velocity. Speed of the gods from that perception is people look like stone.

Once saw strange things come to life before my eyes, demons and ghosts. Had to fight hard just to keep my wits.
Drive one mad to see more clearly. The most powerful things are buried so deep inside us, that we would never accept them unless we let go. Let go of what? Everything we have been taught, everything sacred. The codes we live by

In the ancient zoetropes a candle was in the middle of the circle casting light and shadow for the movements. Depending on the spin velocity the picture of movement becomes invisible.

It is the visionary that confuses the vision as any effect from vision is only conjured by the visionary.

Why do we dance to the speed of time?

The speed of the gods. We are like a stone nonmoving compared to the gods. All we see is the trail they leave behind. The door is not a door. It is a door in the speed of time. Alters the way we live.

Humanity is their mask

If stone, according to myth was the oldest and hardest and stands for creation, male part. As, there is 4: stone spirit, thunder spirit, moving spirit, water spirit. Which is considered earth, fire, air, water now a days.
But if matter is the oldest and hardest and we are considered stones to gods as we move slower velocity, it doesn't make sense.
Lichen eat rocks
So reminding, the 13th medusa head in the athena shield/aztec turns people to stone who isn't 'touched by the gods' which is basically another way of saying dna thing

Ben puts it all out there...answers a lot of q's...lots of links in the description...

"He's discussing new investigations by Scientists into the cyclic nature of magnetic pole reversals and the Suns role, as well as the pattern indicating something similar to that cycle , which in the past has created ELE events, occurring now." - Pinkorchid

"He's talking about a scientific paper in the prestigious journal Nature that is using fossil evidence to map out Earth's catastrophic cycle and extinction events.

In other words, the subject matter he's been discussing for years is now going mainstream, somewhat (within the scientific community.)

He also talks about the Younger Dryas mega catastrophe which happened only about 12K years ago. Ben contends it was driven by the sun, not an impact event.

Ben also alludes to the fact that these catastrophes coincide with shifts in earth's magnetosphere. Which we are now experiencing. At a rate that has really sped up in the last few decades." - AC
