Long after the assimilation of the Etruscans, Seneca the Younger said[1] that the difference between the Romans and the Etruscans was that

Whereas we believe lightning to be released as a result of the collision of clouds, they believe that the clouds collide so as to release lightning: for as they attribute all to deity, they are led to believe not that things have a meaning insofar as they occur, but rather that they occur because they must have a meaning.

Rare mounds of a crystalline mineral have emerged above the surface of Utah's Great Salt Lake, where they're expected to remain just a few months before disappearing again.

Scientists think these mounds may be similar to mineral structures on Mars that could preserve traces of microbes that may have lived in the planet’s saltwater lakes billions of years ago.

Thompson noticed that the mounds grew as the winter deepened, and she called in members of the Utah Geological Survey to investigate.

After taking samples for chemical tests, the state geologists determined that the mounds are layered formations of a mineral known as mirabilite, a crystalline sodium sulfate. The scientists think the mounds will remain only as long as the weather stays below freezing; in the spring, the mirabilite will dissolve in the warmer waters, and the mounds will disappear.

Interesting feedback since smith was heavily influenced and overwhelmed by the mound builder culture.

Re: Technology of Craftsmanship
So in the 2nd episode of The Witcher there is a class for young witches to learn magic. Or whatever, lol here's the recap. Hope not to spoil it for you.

Yennefer's story is basically a lost installment of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She is taken in by Tissaia de Vries (MyAnna Buring), a powerful sorceress who runs a Witch Academy at Aretuza. It's here where Yennefer and other young girls are taught how to harness their powers in a series of tests, including levitation, telepathy, and even catching lightning in a bottle. "Magic is organizing chaos," Tissaia explains. But Yennefer struggles to keep up with her classmates and lashes out in ways that are harmful to both herself and others. At one point, she attempts to kill herself by cutting her wrists. "Your job is to control chaos, not become it," Tissaia tells the self-destructive farm girl. It's through Istredd, though, we learn about the continent's past, specifically, the history of elves. The big talking point running through the episode is to do with the elven people: who they are, what they did, and where they are now. According to Istredd, the elves were the original sorcerers, before humans and monsters ever roamed the continent. It was the elven mages that taught the first humans how to turn chaos into magic. In return, the humans slaughtered the elves, so that they could pretend the power always belonged to them.

Magical Bloodlines topic lol

I don’t mind spoilers. I get it right usually so I’m hardly surprised.

It’s said Abraham sat under an oak tree. Buddha his tree. One of trees powers is memory. A tree holds memory including human and has the ability to show you, you, through them. A tree is never just a tree. Many come to cut off the branches which will grow more in its place to alter destinies.

Thinking, many religions and paganism of the past prompted its considered wisdom holy helpers to say that the holy are holy because they are blessed by whatever god they are under. So the followers are to believe that not question their powers because they are blessed by god. Etc because of the structure ran prompts the continuation of mad men in power.

Then take societies where spirituality is for everyone, they know discernment and what is wisdom and what is under ignorance. Ignorance can be guised as blessings. And everyone can tell what is healthy shaman from diseased shaman.

Wherein above religious, the unhealthy holy are looked upon as healthy.
How demonic arose about. What’s funny is, hereditary people have things that come with them and others that are very religious say, how do they have those powers they are not holy. Lol

Interestingly, could of been 2011 I had a dream on this very topic especially the taking of energy. I burned everything within the dream to find an entity cloaked with no face. They wouldn’t say anything and I kicked it out and a stream of energy went with it so I took that stream back. They did make grunting noises. I thought it was a person at first and found who I thought it was. This guy was real. Because of it they came later invading into a dream I had to disarm. I learned not to snatch people up after that lol

Re: Technology of Craftsmanship
Trees help people, if strong connection, with their troubles.

Troubles are powers not understood. That’s when they become chaos.

One of the troubles of modern man is the pain of taking a life as for survival man takes from all that nature created.

The disjointed dream can be shown through lord of the good trees approach.
Showing the trees that had been cut by man and angel, becoming a nightmare with plants, animals beginning to scream with man’s approach. Blind panic from animals, plants bending away. Man feels as though he is the disease infecting nature with every step. A mistake. Dangerous. Chaos.

The vivid shift of destruction man caused was wanton destruction. Greater than even man could imagine on nature itself. Forests burned away. Whole continents. The plowing of fields to make way for crops and people. Their trash and waste scattered. Waters turning toxic. Animals killed only for their skins. No reverence for the land only seemingly to care about what they could take from it and never considering what they might give back. Man could feel creations suffering and how it did not matter to these people that did not follow the laws of creation in whatever they took. What mattered to them was only the present. Animals could escape the ravages of man but plants were helpless.

A tree trembling with fear locked deep into earth shows man its fear, its cries from man itself that cannot hear and the one that can pulling the inaudible to trees thoughts of one by one and they keep coming into endless stream of purposeful destruction. That’s when man becomes helpless against man.
As the force leaves the tree, the cries, pain of its torture slipped away into death.
Awakened this nightmare was not reality. Man awakens with powerful emotions the tree was not destroyed realizing the urge to protect and become guardian over creation.
Yet to keep anyone from harming a tree is different from all creation as man cannot separate himself from wanton destruction and other men’s inflictions upon earth.
It was like a disease consuming the host body until it died.
The dream becomes a reflection of the inner struggle of taking things from nature to live just as others take what they needed.

This is where self doubt is killer. The trees vulnerability and inability to avoid dangers that came from man, storms, or fires, etc was because of immobility. Man actually becomes the portal or doorway to the trees. They come with same questions and revived the same answers from them.

When one goes up the mountain in native teachings, they see the two sides for what they are. Where one is healthy compare to diseased. That shows man’s true purpose on earth.
Man is a tool of creator and creation helping nature do what would otherwise take many years. Man belongs to the earth and earth belongs to man. When forest first gives to man, man in return helped it grow stronger. It is through man that nature can grow strong and healthy.
Winds and storms trim trees. Animals eat plants and other animals. Plants feed on sunshine, soils, waters of the earth. The balance and harmony with man and nature is the perfection of man’s purpose. The effort to create a thriving environment.
A diseased shaman is wanton destruction only thinking of immediate survival with greed to consume acts like sickness on the natural world. Disregarding leaves no legacy for the future. Common sense there.
It is how each thing fits together. Foundation topic.

How could I make such a mistake? Look.

Think you can do that? Sure.
Gary.

We shouldn't be here cleaning congealed dairy and sugar.

Real power.

- No! Not money.
Any fool can get rich.
Oh, right.
Necromancy.
Dominion over life and death.
The ability to bend the universe to your will.
Like that sweet gig you used to have.
Walking around, being your own boss, raising people from the dead.

I'm into all that stuff the government doesn't want us to know about UFOs, lizard men, Bigfoot.
I just wish I could've seen you kick ass back in the day.
Maybe you're not too late.

Now you've witnessed my sorcery, I have one question for you, Chad.
Will you be my acolyte? Hell yeah.

Where are we going? We're going back to the way things used to be.
Because somehow I'm gonna become the Necromancer again.

- Rise.

Cockroaches are child's play compared to more complex animals.

Malivore took my powers, but he couldn't take my birthright a propensity for magic.
Now I need to rebuild my skills, step by step.
Why do you think Malivore did this to you? Well, if you were promised peace, why did he send you here? I'm sure he was jealous of my power.
That I was the only one who was smart enough to outfox Oh, that's strange.

- Acolytes, plural? - Fear not.
It's all part of my master plan.
- I'll catch you up on the way.

Yeah I'm not really a fan of this show but I see all the recurring themes. I'd like it if they would cut down on the sex and nudity but other than that, same shit different show. Interesting dream!
