someone explain to me how playing video games is less productive than watching TV/social media/dicking around on the internet.

Don't know why everyone is suddenly obsessed with being productive when machines can basically do almost any kind of work now.

A lot of men just gacve up because of watching thos before them get run through divorce rape in the gynocentric court system , watch their friend ol ladys run through them and then hop on facebook to the next .

Throw in the white male bashing . It just looks like a losing game that is more likely to not go their way .

Im one of those guys you talk about but I can change brakes water pumps ,alternators and adjust valves on a motorcycle drop a 70 foot tree right where I want it with a big ol stihl chainsaw

I can cook ( did professionally for years , repair computers , run a loader whatever .I lift weights and am not a giant fat man . 6'1 215 caveman I just dont see the point in putting everything I got on the line for a shaky at best gamble.

Plus my folks are old and have an acre of land they need maintained. So im happy to be here. And I have my own bedroom and my own livingroom pool side haha it aint so bad .

You can only say white man bad so many times before we say Ok , bye then .

...you're dating people that still live with their parents? Tf did you expect? Raise your standards & you won't have that problem. As of right now it sounds like you'd take anything with a penis & a hobby.

Not true.
So many men of this generation still live with their parents or family. Kind of hard to raise your standards when the men out here are basically like how I stated above.

I think that's why so many women in their 20's-early 30's are going after older men.

I'm 49 and have been asked out twice in the last month by women aged 27 and 32.

I'm happily in a relationship so I declined, but I've personally seen a big increase in younger women looking for men 10-20 years older. A few friends my age have similar stories.

What do you think a younger women could want with a dried up baldy like you.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48693763

LOL!

6'0" and 190, and thick brown hair, so nope.

You would have to ask them, but I assume it's a combination of good looks, stability, ambition, interests other than Call of Duty/Fortnite, and a diet that consists of more than hot pockets and Mountain Dew.

Don't give up hope, with some effort, and a lot of luck, even you can get the attention of a girl one day.

lol

It's not.

It's the same thing, just a different format.

The only time I think it's a problem is when that's all someone does...meaning they don't ever leave the PS4/XBox/Computer.

There's nothing wrong with gaming x amount of hours per week. My girlfriend games for 1-2 hours 3-4 times per week. It helps her unwind from stress at work.

While she's gaming, I workout, do side work for extra money, or do some gunsmithing.

Re: Rant: never dating a guy that plays video games again
Imagine what an alien would think of mankind if it did not see in our colour spectrum?

It would see hundreds of thousands of people walking around staring at little plastic blocks...plastic screens...all sitting there madly tapping on theor little box or screen.

It would wonder what the living fuck we were doing.

It would look out at the mess our world is in...and wonder why everyone is hypnotised by these boxes.

It would examine them..see they are electrical...but have no idea what they do.

It would come to the conclusion that its some kind of hypnotic time wasting device.

And it would be DEAD FUCKING RIGHT.

Try not to generalize too much. I work as an Executive Chef at a nationally recognized restaurant. 50 hours a week. Have my own place. All my bills paid and good stuff. Probably play around 40 hours a week in video games. I help manage a top clan in the game I mainly play. Life is good.

Re: Rant: never dating a guy that plays video games again
First off I would like to say, I like video games. But after a certain age, a man should be growing out of it. Especially if he makes it his first priority or number one hobby.

These dudes usually are addicted to porn too. And sending random webcam hoes money to send them nudes or just watch them play. Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate this generation of men.

And 100% of the guys I know like this still live with their mom/family.

Bitch I play video games but I also own property and have a good job. What do you bring to the table besides you shit attitude and meathole.

I bet you spend no less than 40hrs a week checking your Instagram posts and facebook. Real productive.

My gaming PC is worth more thn your house skank.

My 17 year old alpha male cannot even find 1 girl worthy to courtship in his high school .

The girls are like spoiled brats and dress like WHORES . All they do is Gossip on their smart phones which they have in their ass cheeck pocket when it's not in their hands .

That reminds me of a customer I had in work. I was putting a valve stem on her lawn mower tire and it was very tight getting it in. She stated, "Spit on It, That will Do It."

Re: Rant: never dating a guy that plays video games again
We hear all the time about how we need to keep our brains working to keep the function at the highest level. While many of us focus on crosswords and Sudoku puzzles, there’s no denying that computer games may be able to help. Just think about the amount that your brain must do while you’re playing the games.

Over time, you will start to recognize patterns in the games, and you need to remember missions, characters, what various items in the games do, and much more. While you’re looking for creative ways to get through the stages, you will keep the brain ticking.

There are also games created specifically to help train the brain. The Wii Fit has a game that makes you do math problems, hitting balls to answer the questions by moving your hips. You’re working physically and mentally at the same time. There are others where you will need to perform memory tasks, or you’ll be asked to answer other questions.

Your memory and other cognitive abilities are boosted. You’ll also feel good about yourself as your memory improves and you beat your high scores. So, while you get a boost of serotonin, you’ll also get a boost of cells. Your hippocampus grows, and you’re at a lower risk for developing the likes of Alzheimer’s and dementia in later life.

Yes, you really can fight off the aging process through gaming. The next time someone tells you to get off the game, point out that you’re just protecting your mental aging process.

Re: Rant: never dating a guy that plays video games again
How often have you wanted to snack when you’re playing video games? We see all those movies and TV shows where there’s a gamer surrounding by chips and pop, but can you honestly say that that is you?

When you’re playing a game, your focus is on what’s on screen. Your hands are busy with the controller. You don’t have the time to pick up food and eat it. You’ll be lucky if you get a drink in now and then!

Plus, your mind is completely off the thought of snacks. It’s busy.

Most snacking and cravings are due to emotions. We’re bored or stressed, so we reach for something to keep us busy. Well, we’re already solving that issue with the computer games. To top it off, we feel good about playing because we’re having fun, so we don’t want to snack.

Curbing cravings will help you lose weight. You focus on healthy eating, and you can reduce the health problems associated with obesity. Missing sugar isn’t something that you experience anymore, so you don’t feel like you’re on a diet and feel great about yourself.
