I began noticing it about 2 years ago. Here and there. Occasionally.
But by now this has reached a scale that is unbelievable. I mean, that they really can do this without being punished!

Having to pay at the check-out what the shelve labels claim has become the exception. Every receipt has to be checked and then one needs to claim back the excess money paid at check-out. Sale prices are just fake.

On saturday I was shocked to see that they even tinker with the kilo price. Displaying kilo price in addition to the item price was introduced as a means to make it more transparent what a product really costs.
But I just discovered that they just display a fake lower kilo price for the most expensive item in the product range. Discovered it when trying to find just simple salt without any intermixtures. Really expensive!

This is worst at Joker (even the small local mountain shop) and Meny. At Meny I now regularely pay up to 30% more than they officially claim. Getting back the money is easy, but they do not say "sorry", they just frown and give the money back in cash. And you need to ask for the receipt at check-out. The default here is to not take a receipt or let alone check it.
At the small local Joker in the mountains they stopped doing small talk with me or smile. And asking for the receipt evokes an evil stare.
