But how can anyone do that? If the Primary Delegates are based on votes and you have to register in that state then a candidate should really declare now. I am not sure a candidate could swoop in and take a whole bunch of delegates at the last minute. Unless others who ran refuse to go any further. Maybe a scandal or worse.
