Your thread here reminded me of a GLPer years ago who was always posting warnings about Nibiru or Fukushima or something (can't remember...something major). Everything that person posted was about how this particular flavor of doom was going to kill us all any day now.

After posting major doom warnings everyday for months, this GLPer vanished from GLP for a while. A couple of weeks later, another GLPer posted a thread asked for prayers for this GLPer saying that they had been in the hospital in critical care. The details shared were that while this person had been vacuuming their house, they stumbled back into their fish tank which shattered and a piece of the glass from the fish tank severed a major artery and this GLPer nearly died before someone got them to the hospital (best I can recall, some others may remember this better).

Everyone felt bad for them but the running joke was that who knew with all their talk about the end of the world, that something minor like broken glass from a fish tank was what they should have been on guard against.

Moral of the story: You can focus on major doom all day long, but it's the little things you least expect and don't see coming that can kill you!

Trust God with each day, know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Redeemer, and rest in the peace of knowing you are in His hands! After that...Let it come!

Last night I felt something had or was happening, something no one is expecting, i.e., something that is not generally discussed.

The feeling has passed. I feel much better and have no ear ringing.
