FRANCE:Migrants complain about the new bank card that no longer allows them to withdraw cash

You can always tell the people who have food stamp cards here, they always have 2 overflowing carts of food. The people that have to pay their own way have maybe 1 cart half full.

French Office of Immigration and Integration (Ofii) had justified this change of card by, on the one hand, a security concern to prevent asylum seekers on the street being stolen and, on the other hand, by the impossibility to withdraw from the distributors sums below 10 euros. Faced with criticism of this new card, Ofii has announced that a "cashback" device - a system of liquidity return after a payment in blue card - would be available in most supermarkets in France.

OK Mr/Ms Australia. Why then are you continuing to live in such a bad place with all the benefits that accrue to living a 1st world life in a 1st world country?

Shouldn't you have decamped to living in Zaire, or Ghana, or Malaysia, or India, or somewhere else that is 3rd world?

In the meantime, my husband works full-time and we have meat once a week if we can afford it. Had some on Thanksgiving. That was a special day.

Same thing here in Ireland. The burka clad women take two shopping carts and fill them full of stuff while taking their sweet time and won't even move out of your way. You just have to wait.

Not being able to withdraw from an ATM does not mean they can't go to one and get the balance.

We are all restricted.

I love yummy organic smoked salmon or organic farmed fish but I am restricted. I can never buy them. It cost way too much.

I will probably make an exception at Christmas I can't always deprive me, but then it's restrictions on other foods.

The EU and the Euro have bankrupted us.
It's Winter time. It's cold. Heating bills are yuuuge. Must restrict on that too.

Migrants have access to free food banks. We don't.

They look in good shape. WE don't.

This is why I never give anything for the food banks in supermarkets. It all goes to illegal immigration.

I have to pay 100% of my rail transport.

The invaders get it free. NGO's are paying for them.

Never understood how you could have the audacity to complain about something that's free to begin with. Free to you of course, not anyone else. We just pick up the tab.
