This is very local for me. In fact, that is the nearest town to where I am hunting right now.
Hunters aren't none too happy about this, it's giving them a bad name. These two shit heads will most certainly be made an example of, and rightfully so. No need to do what they did.
However, with that being said, the threats to their family and the families business are uncalled for. This is a very small town and apparently one of these kids step dads is the police chief. These two were adults 17 or 18 years old. It's not like they were 12 years old and needed to be under supervision from their parents. These two did what they did all on their own and that's that.

I'm in Forest CO right now, but could walk to Jefferson in about 30 steps. Elk is a quick walk upriver, and clarion is a bit more downriver. Crazy I found someone on GLP so close.
