ANIMAL FRIEND "All creatures are created from the same paternal heartbeat of God. Not to hurt our humble brethren is our first duty to them, but to stop there is not enough. We have a higher mission--to be of service to them wherever they require it. If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men." -St. Francis of Assisi "The greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way in which its animals are treated." -Gandhi Thread: Top 10 Opera Auditions (My Music Thread) |

She is thinking about going back to the Dr. and having it surgically removed. Any ideas? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78213391 My daughter had one and actually it just finally went all the way away. I tried every over the counter crap. Not one of them worked. Once I took her to the Dr. and decided to have it frozen off... It only took 4 ten minute appointments. Completely gone. She is 10 and it didn't hurt her at all to have it frozen off. She said it was waaaay more painful to have the wart itself. Hers was right under her toes in that padded area of the foot. Make an appointment! It will be over soon. Good luck to your wife! |

Here's the solution.......thank me later. Soak a small piece of paper towel with vinegar, and tape it to the plantar wart with silver duck tape. Do this before she goes to bed each night, and leave it on through the night. Remove each morning. The wart will fall off and never return. 100% effective, and fairly fast. |

Im not saying it doesn't work. It just didn't work on her own wart. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 75970894 United States 12/02/2019 03:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You have to have vinegar soaked tissue paper under the duct tape. It works. Ahhhh... Now that I did not do. I only knew about the duct tape part. Thanks for the tip in case she gets another. Have a great day! It's cool the way it works. The vinegar will target the wart, while leaving the healthy tissue around it unaffected. The wart will become soft, and white, and then slough off. Kinda like how a thick callous on the feet will do after a long time in the swimming pool. |

Thanks for the suggestion, I have had one of those for about a year, at first I though I had stepped on glass, used tweezers and kept trying but nothing found, some days it's not so bad but other's it's annoying and sensitive. Will try your method out. Cheers! |

After months of soaking it in epsom salts and using a pumice stone it revield itself. But at first I thought it was a splinter or glass. Then the next day I realized it was a wort. |

If you can change the dressing more than that , it's also good . This works ! It's basically free and you can use any tape . As long as it's properly fastened . |

Change it once or twice a day. Easy to get the tape off buy soaking foot in a warm bath or after takng a shower. It works. The acv will make the wart literally fall off after a few days to a week. Soak cotton ball in it and place it over any wart or mole you want gone . Use Vaseline around the edges to protect the outer skin from burning . The skin adjacent will get irritated with out Vaseline after the 1st day . Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77514991 Do 3 times a day until it's eradicated . Anonymous Coward User ID: 76148484 United States 12/02/2019 05:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | About 30 yrs ago a doctor prescribed something called "Verrex" to me for a wart on the bottom of my foot that was resisting all other treatments. the active ingredient was podophyllin penederm and was a boiled down brown extract from the podophyllin flower roots. Cured a very large flattened out wart in about a week. no pain, not an acid. almost like magic. Came in a tiny brown bottle with a plastic or glass applicator. they banned it in the US because they claimed it harmed DNA or some other tripe. Might still be able to get it in other countries, not sure. |
