My wife has a Plantar Wart on the foot of her ball
My wife has one on the ball of her foot and it has been extremely painful to her. she has tried everything you can imagine over-the-counter, including Dr. Scholls, Compound W, and even an applicator that has liquid nitrogen to try and freeze it off - nothing has worked. She is thinking about going back to the Dr. and having it surgically removed. Any ideas?

I've heard that taping a banana peel to it works, but I have no personal experience with that to say for sure.

My daughter had one and actually it just finally went all the way away.

I tried every over the counter crap.

Not one of them worked.

Once I took her to the Dr. and decided to have it frozen off...

It only took 4 ten minute appointments.

Completely gone.

She is 10 and it didn't hurt her at all to have it frozen off.

She said it was waaaay more painful to have the wart itself.

Hers was right under her toes in that padded area of the foot.

Make an appointment!

It will be over soon.

Good luck to your wife!

Re: My wife has a Plantar Wart on the foot of her ball
My girlfriend had this same issue a few years back.

Here's the solution.......thank me later.

Soak a small piece of paper towel with vinegar, and tape it to the plantar wart with silver duck tape.

Do this before she goes to bed each night, and leave it on through the night. Remove each morning.

The wart will fall off and never return. 100% effective, and fairly fast.

Re: My wife has a Plantar Wart on the foot of her ball
I even tried the duct tape option to suffocate it out.

No go.

Yeah.. I tried that.

Im not saying it doesn't work.

It just didn't work on her own wart.

You have to have vinegar soaked tissue paper under the duct tape. It works.

Ahhhh...

Now that I did not do.

I only knew about the duct tape part.

Thanks for the tip in case she gets another.

Have a great day!

I had one at age eleven
Dig into the center
Once you get to the heart of it will be a black seed like object
Remove it
It doesn’t hurt
Once the seed is removed, no more

It's cool the way it works. The vinegar will target the wart, while leaving the healthy tissue around it unaffected.

The wart will become soft, and white, and then slough off. Kinda like how a thick callous on the feet will do after a long time in the swimming pool.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have had one of those for about a year, at first I though I had stepped on glass, used tweezers and kept trying but nothing found, some days it's not so bad but other's it's annoying and sensitive.
Will try your method out.
Cheers!

Cut in half a garlic clove

Rub the garlic juice on it

Wash it off after 5 minutes if you want

Garlic juice kills the wart virus on contact

You're welcome

I've had one for years also. I couldn't see anything there. It felt like a deep itch my foot that made me feel like digging it out. After months of soaking it in epsom salts and using a pumice stone it revield itself. But at first I thought it was a splinter or glass. Then the next day I realized it was a wort.

it seems like there is nothing that works all the time, but I had luck using oregano oil on my kid's plantar wart. Nightly, for a long time.

Re: My wife has a Plantar Wart on the foot of her ball
Get organic apple cider vinegar . Soak cotton ball in it and place it over any wart or mole you want gone . Use Vaseline around the edges to protect the outer skin from burning . The skin adjacent will get irritated with out Vaseline after the 1st day .

Do 3 times a day until it's eradicated .
If you can change the dressing more than that , it's also good .
This works ! It's basically free and you can use any tape . As long as it's properly fastened .

Cottonball soaked in apple cider vinegar, duck taped directly to it. Change it once or twice a day. Easy to get the tape off buy soaking foot in a warm bath or after takng a shower.

It works. The acv will make the wart literally fall off after a few days to a week. Its fuckin weird when you see it lol.

Duck Tape. Or, Duct Tape.

Strap it on the wart, until it falls off.

Get some sulphuric acid and soak the foot with wart in it . 1 time treatment !
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77514991

Maybe you should soak your head in sulphuric acid. Maybe that could fix what's wrong with you.
I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you.

Re: My wife has a Plantar Wart on the foot of her ball
About 30 yrs ago a doctor prescribed something called "Verrex" to me for a wart on the bottom of my foot that was resisting all other treatments. the active ingredient was podophyllin penederm and was a boiled down brown extract from the podophyllin flower roots. Cured a very large flattened out wart in about a week. no pain, not an acid. almost like magic. Came in a tiny brown bottle with a plastic or glass applicator.

they banned it in the US because they claimed it harmed DNA or some other tripe. Might still be able to get it in other countries, not sure.

Yes, go to a dermatologist or foot doctor. They can remove them by cutting a small incision and putting a salycilic cream on it. OTC products are not going to work for that and its a virus, it won't heal itself.

Aldara cream and use the duct tape trick. My chef friend and I have gotten them on our hands. I think it’s from shit in the food but who knows. This is the only thing that worked.

I used canned air in repeated treatments to freeze it.
