I feel the same way. My plan is to keep my cost of living as low as possible, no matter how much money I'm making. That way, if I manage to land a job with a nice salary, I can either just work part time, or maybe retire a little early or something. At the same time, I'm constantly trying to tap into my talents in hopes of eventually doing something I love for a living. Writing, game programming, music, entertaining. If you can get something rolling, you can make tons of money doing some cool stuff. That's the dream right? I still hold onto it, even if this society tries to keep me down :) And who knows how much longer this circus can go on anyway. Our whole society could collapse at a moment's notice. Just gotta go with the flow.
