We all have a very short time on our beautiful planet. I have found the good to far outweigh the bad and thus actually enjoy my life. I have had more trials and tribulations than the vast majority would think is possible. I never blamed God for the tough times. Appreciate the challenges, seek challenges and aim to kick ass and all the rest falls into place.

I've worked for the same company most of my life. The first 8 years was a customer contact job (an operator). The last 22 have been a technical job. I've worked both sides of it.

I'll be completely honest. A menial job where I just do something sounds so appealing right now. I'm tired of being on call every other week, for services that aren't (in my view) necessary for survival. I'm tired of maintaining 30-50 year old equipment that they've never upgraded. I'm tired of having to retain an encyclopedia of information in my head, so I can do my job.

I see it from both perspectives. From a technical, high paying job where it is highly specialized, to a low level customer contact job. Granted, I would not go back to customer contact, but any job where I am not on call and the worst stress is doing something repeatedly, that sounds so darn appealing. Variety is the spice of life though and I do have variety in what I'm doing right now. I can see where doing the same thing over and over again day in and day out would be monotonous and mind-numbing.

I'll have my 30 years in March. I plan on retiring and drawing my pension at the tender age of 49 and doing a non-technical, variable hours,job for extra money.

There *is* a method to the madness... of finding a career that will allow you to retire with a pension early in life.

I'm in total agreement though... I'd rather go back to when we grew our own food and lived off of the land. At least that would be worthwhile; vs slavery to the system.

The life cycle of bacteria consists of reproducing, eating, pooping, dying. Bacteria work hard to make sure they have enough food in order to reproduce and eat. Some bacteria are luckier than others in that they have more food available than other bacteria do. This requires a comfortable environment which is not always easy to have. Same with the Collective Bacteria: The Humans.

The Collective Bacteria’s (human’s) function is to work everyday to eat and maintain a comfortable environment (bills), reproduce, and poop. It’s what bacteria *do* whether individually or as a Collective.

The foundation is repetitive cycles which I find very boring.

The slave system is like a carrot which hangs on a stick in front of the donkey. The one who's riding the donkey tells the donkey 'You can make it, hurry, it's right there in front of you'. Of course it's not the owners of it all who ride donkeys, for this they have the upper slaves. Yes, the slave system is fully automated and administrates itself.

Along the way, I constantly made changes that steered the path of my life....you worked 8 different jobs?....I tried more than 8 in 2 years....

Eventually you'll get where you need to go....
