I have a North face jacket, and I want to cover up the logos on it with patches so people do not think I'm rich. What patches should I get for it

Get patches that indicate your profession is a garbage collector. Something like "XYZ City Sanitation Specialist". Nobody will ask you to buy drinks

I've always thought a Fandango Ranger Patch has to be earned.

Not everyone is automatically a Fandango Ranger.

Wearing a Fandango Ranger Patch (if you are not really a Fandango) is a good way to get into some serious trouble, should another GLP notice, and start talking to you.

If you cannot prove you earned the Fandango Ranger, that's not good, not good.

Otherwise, my advice: You go to your local head shop, because they always sell patches, but maybe not the kind you would want to wear.
